@@joserodolfospin4756 hey man, thanks for watching! First off, I was wrong about the One having a stereo input. So that is something to note from the video. The main reason I run it in the loop is to use the effects like drive and comp before the One and then have my modulations and delays and such be after my One, like the 4 cable method. You absolutely can use all the effects from the Stomp straight into the One. Do make sure you watch your input level on the One!

@@bradleyclosson5042 to capture stuff, you need a computer. But you can easily use Android with the M-EFCS app for the Tank and transfer my files over, add IR cabs, and tweak and save all the presets.

@@DoubleDguitar Firstly, thank you for the quick reply, I use Fl studio and i don't know what's IR2 is. My problem is i see the drivers and they seem to be connected but no audio when i play my guitar. But when i plug my Akai Mpk there's no problem. I tried my best explaining my problem.

@@regular743 I am not familiar with FL studio. You should see the IR2 as an audio input, maybe in a pull down menu or your settings.

@@regular743 I just use GarageBand on my Mac. A lot of people like Audacity for pc, I believe it is still free. I do, I have a bunch of videos about the GX100. It would show up in a similar way, as a usb interface.

@@canadianguitar-garrettont7368 you have to use the M-EFCS software. If you really want to pre-tweak, use the ANN software on the am2 files. But full presets can be done thru M-EFCS.

@@canadianguitar-garrettont7368 hmm that is strange. First, try another cable. You may be using a USB power only cable. They have data versions and power versions, I learned this while wording some arcade cabs. If that doesn’t work, I would reach out to either Playwell or mvave and see if they have any tips beyond that.

@@alecse5478 hey man, unfortunately you have to use their ANN software to capture and convert. I have not tried to capture much more than some ToneX preamps out of the “One” pedal and some from the Boss IR2, with cabs off on all.

@@DoubleDguitar I downloaded .am2 files and import directly in M-EFCS. i don't understand what .AM2data bring. I hope we could find high quality preamps in the future cause blackbox use same models

@@alecse5478 the ones called “data” have usually been tweaked out in ANN and then exported. The am2 only file is the direct capture with no tweaks to it at all.

@@yervah9647 I am using the very untweaked preamp files right from the capture. A lot of people ask about the IR on the video. I capture them without an ir, so you can use whichever one you would like.

@@MichaelMyersDoverPA hmm interesting, I am thinking they make some adjustments in the software to allow us to use just an interface?? I am able to adjust output and input levels at the interface, as well as at the pedal. But you raise a good point. I followed their instructions, but this would be worth comparing the differences. @@gelroa2421 that is a preamp captured from the Boss IR-2 unit. But I turned the cabinet off at the master point in the software of the Boss unit when I did the captures.

@@stephenadimonye1772 hey man, I don’t think this would be what you would want. This works more with traditional effects and amp sounds and doesn’t have the midi type of conversion you would be looking for. It sounds like you want to look into a midi set up, but I’m not certain about a good instrument interface to suggest.

I tried Mooer, Valeton, NUX, Line 6. I like these more. Easier to use, less tweaking, good default tones, 4 switches for live mode (always my preference), but can still do 4 presets as well if you want to.

​@@DoubleDguitarYep. The NUX and Mooer stuff was a lot more complicated for a worse tone. I use my Zoom Multistomp over those. Everything being battery powered is really cool.

@@Bjx-is8sq they do not have a comp slot or effect, but it is possible to set up your comp the way you like it and capture it. Once captured, you wouldn’t be able to adjust the ratio, or actual comp level, but you could adjust gain according to the capture print. And of course adjust the level and three bands of tweakable eq. So, it is possible. I have not captured a comp yet, since there are so many variables for a persons taste. But you could use a comp pedal before it and just dial in a nice tone at the amp and ir spots, then add effects from the tank to taste.

@@Bjx-is8sq hey thank you for subscribing! The capture method has some new options, and only works on a PC with a decent gpu. But they also have some sort of online option now to help with the process. I would say to also check out the M-Vave channel for more on how they do that. I think through Google.

@@MrShaneConaway I wouldn’t say it is putting anyone at Keeley out of work. I do think the artwork and layout is beyond what I would normally accept as a “clone” pedal and the DemonFX stuff is borderline, and have had to change designs after some companies went after them. I prefer the Mosky method, when it comes to cloning, “don’t try to replicate the look, make a good pedal”. And I think many big pedal companies have started by cloning circuits and moving that direction. Clearly not the DemonFX goal lol. Hey thanks for watching 🤙🏻

@@DoubleDguitar thanks for the reply! I used to work for keeley electronics. I saw what it does to these companies first hand when cloning really took off. The one good thing about it was it forced Robert to stay on his toes again with new stuff. You wouldn’t believe the mind of that guy. Hundreds and hundreds of hours in R&D ,testing etc. He pays his employees well too. I just seems like a shame for all that work to be stolen . Plus , children might be making the clones. There’s no way to stop it though . The machine is already in play. Peace brosef.

@DoubleDguitar Great, thanks. I bought a Tonex 1 and was so excited at the possibilities, but I'm kinda at a dead end right now. I haven't been able to get past the product manager. It says my username and password are incorrect. I don't understand the logic there, because I created those. I asked for help and they said tech support would contact me in a few days. Ha! It's been about 2 months now and no help. Thus isn't the first trouble I've had with IK. I have their Philharmonik and Sampletank softwares that SOUND GREAT, but eventually require reauthorization. UGH. It's frustrating!

@@user-up2yz7tj2l I am almost positive it is. They use the same processing and software. I have held off on the black box, in fact the Playwell Tank G video will be active in a few minutes from my reply. I walk through the most recent software in that video. And some more captured for you.

I went on the Blackbox FB group and asked what preamps are available and if the profiling is doable and Ehrosmith only answered the preamp question. 🤔

@@gazjo85 hey man, if you mean when you download them and try them yourself, yes I didn’t capture a cabinet while doing the Boss or the Tonex captures so that you can use the Tank G’s IR slot to add your own. I have the one I used in the folder marked IR from the video in the link in the description.

@@DoubleDguitar no no I mean in your demo. When you are playing its sound just like there is no IR at all.

Exemple at 9.30 , for me its a preamp sound without IR

I do not have the GX100 anymore, not because it isn’t a great unit, but I have been using a ToneX One and an HX Stomp for my main digital board. I know it can be tough to get that Yngwie tone, try a Marshall type preamp and instead of a Tube Screamer in front, try the Centaur drive. Keep the gain lower at the amp and use the Centaur with the gain around 40-50%. Thank you for watching and I am glad you found the channel. 🤘🏻

@@theskyisgrae it’s not quite described that way in the manual, but there is a setting that has that feel. I think around 11 o’clock range was that, plus the tap tempo with a little tweak to the time got me close to the U2 feel. Just not quite as precise as you may want, if you do a lot of that.

@@DoubleDguitar heads up for you and anyone else that happens to be looking for the same thing - Mine arrived today and you can get a consistent dotted 8th note and quarter note combo by pointing the parameter dial between the A and the M of the parameter text. Really pleased it can do this!
