- There are a number of variants of the TS style circuit, and this mini pedal from iSet has captured two of them in a very usable pedal. Small, simple, screamin. Depending upon your preamp tone, the pedal will react to give you more of your natural tone, or bring in a juicy and chewy type of "extra gain layer" to your core sound.
I test it out in front of several preamps in the BOSS IR2, so we can hear the pedal in action.

I do not have the GX100 anymore, not because it isn’t a great unit, but I have been using a ToneX One and an HX Stomp for my main digital board. I know it can be tough to get that Yngwie tone, try a Marshall type preamp and instead of a Tube Screamer in front, try the Centaur drive. Keep the gain lower at the amp and use the Centaur with the gain around 40-50%. Thank you for watching and I am glad you found the channel. 🤘🏻

@@なははぷらら awesome!! If you are using a cabinet IR, that would be where I really start to tweak that core tone. Add a little delay for some parts, a touch of plate reverb and you should be really close! Have fun!!
