- I am really happy to report that this piece of gear from @M-VAVE didn't get thrown into a brick wall after the last video. Some patience and a couple of updates later, and I have a unit that actually sounds REALLY GOOD! It fixed that horrible noise you heard in the beginning of the video. The new ANN app lets you capture your favorite pedals for use as a pre-amp with the IR slot, or as a standalone drive pedal to hit the front of your amp with a useful signal chain of effects.
And as far as IR files go, there are some amazing FREE ones in the Forward Audio link, make sure to grab them. They are key to getting the highest Pimp-Factor possible.

It really is great that they made the software available - it's like a brand new product!
Right? I love that about this now. Thanks for watching, Juliet! 😃
This is a new feature just a killer feature in TANK-G!
Bro, thanks for your time and files!
It is sooo cool that we can do this now! You’re welcome and more to come, I have an old Ibanez Maxon era SM9 getting captured today. Thanks for watching.
Thank you very much for the pedal capture files!
You’re welcome and enjoy them!
Great sound, thanks for share you profile
You’re welcome!! Glad you dig the tones 🤘🏻
THANKS MAN
You got it, enjoy the files! It’s really wild to be able to do this for such a low price point.
Thx Dub!?!?!? Just ordered one, should be here Wednesday. :)
Nice!!! Enjoy it and let me know what you think.
Sounds absolutely wicked now, Dave, holy cow..so happy it worked out in the end and obv with the app software it makes all the difference 😃👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks man!! It really does, I mean I am looking forward to getting time with it tonight. That hadn’t happened with this until the mods. Glad you dig the tones! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@DoubleDguitar really impressive tones. Definitely will be checking the IR website and hope to find some cool free ones to use. Can I load them into the chocolate or do I need the Tank G first for that reckon?
@@kevinmyles6369 the chocolate is just a midi controller. So you would want something like the tank g, the Boss Ir or a Stomp from line 6, etc or even any recording software that you might use can see them.
@@DoubleDguitar ah right, sorry, forgot lol 😆 will find my no worries..
Do you know if I can load IR's from the IR website you showed with the Lekato Cube baby?
@@kevinmyles6369 I am 99% sure you can. The CubeSuite app from Cuvave should allow you to load them in. I have a Lekato one, and a Getaria one. They are still great little units.
Parabéns! Muito bom!
Thank you! Many more to come for the Tank G!🤘🏻
What rabbit hole have you thrown me into?? I own all the stuff in this video and now I am gonna have to do this. I bought the Tank G on a whim a while ago, and now look at what is gonna happen. This should prove to be interesting.
Hahah nice!! Let me know how it goes. Sorry it took me a while to reply, yt didn’t tell me you commented. I just happened upon it. I love the Tank G, now.
Hi thanks for the great video and downloads. I am still uncertain on how I get your pedal profiles into the Tank-G . Am I unable to because I use a IMac? thanks
Hey, you’re welcome! It does seem the Ann software is only on windows. However, there is a new update to the M-EFCS software and I will be getting a video out within the week about how to use it to put the files into the Tank with a Mac. As well as some updated files and a “how to” section.
@@DoubleDguitar Thanks so much for getting back to me. I sure hope the new update allows Mac users to use the Ann software. I am not interested in profiling any pedals (because I do not have any) I just want to be able to load ones that become available on line. I hear an improvement already with your cab IR's and I thank you for that. Honestly I gave up on this pedal like 5 times until I started getting some decent tone going direct to my HeadRush last week. I played and outdoor gig going to my HeadRush and then going to FOH from there and I was really impressed. I have a few days left to return my Kemper Profiler Player and honestly I am having more fun with this Tank-G. I will be watching for your next video. Thanks Again
Um ótimo som! Fiz as capturas do neural dsp plugin, contudo, o som não fica o mesmo, muda bastante, o que você fez para ficar o mais parecido?
Thank you! I think it has a lot to do with getting the audio level very close to peaking, but not peaking or “clipping”, during the highest points before making a capture, getting the clearest signal going to the interface.
Hey buddy, the audio interface is setting to stereo or mono? Why didn't you put the interface for INST?
Hey man, when I run this into my Focusrite with my M5, I do stereo. It’s all going line level into the interface, and not my guitar directly in. If I had my guitar going into my interface alone, it would be inst. But now I am thinking you mean the interface that I captured with? If so, it would also be line level info going in or out. It’s 4/20, so I am overthinking everything😆hope something I said helped.
clarification. so if you send files from ann it will fall into amp type or ir? or the slot it self (1a-1d)? kinda confuse where it will go
It will go into the amp type, once you save it to the Tank G. There will be a pull down option, pick slot 1-9, depending upon what you want to replace.
Just curious but does updating the Tank-G reset your presets? By reset I mean it reverts the system back to factory settings causing you to lose your custom presets. I read somewhere on their site that it resets something in the system.
I did have that happen on my first update, I am not sure if they have fixed that yet. I would recommend exporting your presets first, just in case. Then you can import them back in, if it does.
@@DoubleDguitar Alright. Thanks for the tip, man! Will do just that!
Why is this not available for tank b? 😢 I was hoping to get emulations of good bass pedals/preamps 😂
I have a feeling something like it will be
Is there no Mac update software? Is it coming?
I believe there is only stuff like the main control app and firmware, the Ann app is windows only.
Can i capture a plugin sound?
Yes! As long as you can route a clean signal and the altered signal into an interface, you can.
can tank-g catch like the boss harmonist effect?
As far as I have heard, the capture only does gain based profiles. Nothing that fancy yet. That would be soooo sick, though.
@@DoubleDguitar if it's like Metal Zone MT02.????
a comparison with an IR or going into an amp would have been a lot more useful. It's hard to tell what part of the beehive sound is important without it, so the comparison to the pedal really didn't do much here
I do have some demos of this straight into an interface with some other captures, and going straight into the Marshall with captures as distortion and gain stages. Look for the follow ups to this in the playlist. Would you like to hear this into the return of the Marshall with preamps loaded in, thus bypassing the preamp of the Marshall to hear them in that purpose? I have thought about trying it and would gladly film. But I would leave the cab sim off for them, since I have mics.
You need Nvidia GPU to speed up the train process. I have a GTX 1070 so it took only 13 minutes
Oh wow!! Ok cool, noted and thank you. I have been taking my time and gathering a bunch for a couple of follow ups. 🤘🏻
@@DoubleDguitar I just found out that you can also copy amplitude stuff even amp+pedal
@@Salveguitarristas oh holy moly! Like downloads online are available already in the format?
@@DoubleDguitar you need to do the trainning with an audio recorded or audacity with the amplitude plugin. If you want I can share a video in Portuguese and I’m pretty it’s simple enough to understand without actually “understanding” 😅

pimp my rig.
Ha, precisely! 🤘🏻😆
Takes less than 30 minutes with a good GPU though.
I have one now! I am getting captures in less than 15 and have a whole bunch of preamps coming up soon. My latest upload has a link to a folder with more pedal captures.
