I have a ‘63 Blackface Non-reverb Deluxe…. And it’s probably the best fender ever made. Play everything through it, but my faves are my Les Paul JR and Special….. just something about old P90’s through a blackface

I have 3 casino's. The Worn, (upgraded) Natural, USA built Casino. The Worn is great for 300 bucks. The Natural had everything changed, inside and out, it sounds great, but its does not have the fine details of the USA. That is a cut above the rest. Its as good a build as my 335.

Look, everyone’s gonna have to just let go of the naming of this instrument. Yeah it’s made in China, big deal. It’s got Gibson wiring, Gibson specs, Gibson parts, Gibson pickups (which are $500 alone), Gibson headstock. It’s a Gibson in name only and it doesn’t have a nitro finish. Gibson realized they needed something to appeal to the budget conscious musician, rather than making them pay $3500 and expecting to stay solvent on tnat

I have a MIM Fender Deluxe Strat Powerhouse and there isn't a Japanese made strat that comes close in quality or sound. These Powerhouse stats are absolute killers and total game changers.

Honestly speaking...... All differences they have you can upgrade, there is no magic that happens in the USA factory.. IMHO, you just have to find the one that comes with features you like playing with. To me it was a Mexican Roadhouse deluxe.. Because it comes with an almost flat fretboard radius and noiseless pickups and locking tuners... A strat is a strat, what makes the difference are the pickups and for playing... the fretboard...

I have a chance to get a Bloomfield drive at a great price. I like the demo playing of the SSS best here as I’m very much going for dumble/SRV sounds. My question is could the Bloomfield approximate those SRV tones well? Some of the demo playing had a Hendrix vibe on the strat at higher gain, but the cool SRV licks were all played on the SSS.

😮 bro. I REMEMBER that guitar from the first concert I saw at 4 in 1974 as the burst. I did NOT know that it was refinished as ebony... Much less the conversion he had done to it. I recently bought a 1980 Epiphone Genesis as a restoration/custom project and THOUGHT that I wanted a LP Custom style neck with block inlays... byt you just showed Me why God brought it into My life. The body is IDENTICAL in bound ebony with a simple cable jack relocation its this as a tribute to the dude who made Me like this 😂 Ace, yer a baaaad mutha, brutha!🤘🏻🃏

The magnets in the vintage instruments age and that usually gives them a unique tone that can be imitated but never duplicated.

Vintage guitars are better than new guitars from a shop that wants to sell overpriced vintage guitars.....makes sense. Unsubscribed!
