The most distinctive difference between the custom shop guitars and the standard guitars is the single-piece wood back on the custom (especially with reissued guitars) vs. multiple-piece wood back on the standard.

Custom shop pickups here are a lot above to me . The standard pickups are just screaming in the midrange and high range . I prefer the custombuckers here on the video, warmer and precise with still bite, similar probably to the old good Gibson standard Alnico pickups 490R/498T rather than these ones on the present standard one

I like the 60’s slimmer neck especially in unburst…

Love that they are held up by a Martin stand ;)

The BB61s are not higher output than BB 1 and 2s. The BB2 is actually hotter but the 61s have A5 mags giving them a harder more aggeasive tone . The custombucker is the same ourput as the 61s but the CBs have a weaker magnet so the artack is slower and softer .

Are the BB61s basically Burst Bucker Pros? I have a 2004 standard with BB pros. Are they the same pickups? Mine are low output A5 magnet

From what seems to be a well prepared video, I'm almost convinced that you tunes the guitars, but you have an amazing ability to make it sound out of tune. Maybe a bit les bending for future videos, to keep the focus on the actual sounds of the guitars.
