I have to say all this talk of season 4 has got me hoping because honestly, part 1 of season 3 was a huge disappointment! The only truly swoon worthy scene of course was the infamous " carriage scene " at the very end!!! Granted the initial hinting and revelations of NEW titles etc was fun but I found that a 4 episode season could have easily been run in 2 episode beginning with suspense of " other " storylines being developed. Honestly breaking the season in to 2 parts is nothing more than click bait! Very disappointing. 😔 😔

4 might be a flop even but who cares, i just want to watch disney characters sing songs to add to my list. Don't care if the story is gonna be trash, if thats the case i will just consider it a trilogy and an extra film.

my issue isnt the inaccuracy, its a fantasy. the issue is how often they dont fit when they should be tailor made. the waistline should not be mid boob! portia also has the weird tight waist empire waist mashup but shes weird so whatever she wants i guess. the corset tight lacing scene in season 1 did piss me off not only cause im tired of that misconception but also theyre wearing gowns that have no defined waist😭

Not for the forcing to find a husband but can you imagine the majority of todays youth following those rules no for sure they wouldn’t be able to become of a lot of self entitlement and attitude they have. Honestly I already hate the new descendants movie I want the original cast I know since Cameron died it might not have been possible but like they could have said that he had gotten married or went on vacation during the movie

*Putting myself into the mindset of the time* Portia is an absolute idiot, she’s not the worst mother, she won’t throw her girls to the wolves but damn she doesn’t make it easy for them at all. There’s a reason eldest to youngest daughters are married off and there’s a reason it’s considered distasteful for multiple daughters to be out at the same time much else debuting, all the focus should be spent on securing a match because yes they essentially only get 3 tries. This should have been Pen’s debut year, her 1st season with her mothers full attention and 2 sisters already married off leading their support and influence with 2 more tries to go but instead she’s on her last chance with no prospects. The Bridgerton’s follow most of the proper steps debuting one girl at a time but because El is El I doubt they’ll be going in order so Franny and her will be out at the same time but at least her mother would be dealing with both debuting and essentially competing for the same pool of people.
