I'm gonna be honest, it kinda feels like this entire video was just "wow, you can remove backgrounds from images" wholly unimpressed. also it's not just mac, photoshop can do the same thing, there are websites to remove backgrounds, basically any image editing software will likely be able to do it

Always staggered when I work in the States as to how backward-looking their sets are. Ghastly drape kits for days!! Like something out of the 1950s. And those awful-looking light totems. The tech set up looks great though.

The new argument as to whether their band plays live or not. My ex was in a permanent based production of Cirque du Soleil. When you have a live show like that and presumably Taylor's, and in part due to all the moving parts of the stage, you can't afford not to be live. You have to go with the action, especially if there was a technical glitch which happens and a lift stops working. There has to be an emergency procedure for all these things. His show and the O show has several lifts and they break down often during the show. I cant see how Taylor's show isn't all live with the exception of some electronic recorded filler.

some suggestion: combine your set up with the Disney moving Tiles. would make everything smaller! you could do a lot of more moving acting, also with more people.

Quite interesting that for a volume that big you guys are using UE's NDisplay. A solution like Disguise (I know it is terribly expensive, I use it) would take this to a whole new level, easier to setup, run, calibrations and even augmented reality.

It would be great to have a winter pool party inside one of these with the "virtual sun" moving overhead.

The only thing I'm confused on is how you're outputting to Zoom. If the pinned presenters are on camera in Zoom and you're using your output feed as your camera (presumably from the ATEM as the webcam output), would the presenters not show up twice on everyone else's monitor (once as their original camera in Zoom and once from your output?)? How do you get a clean screen with only the presenters from your ATEM webcam output? I have a smaller but very similar show to what you displayed in this video (only one presenter at a time, per time slot) and I need a way to bring their camera feed into an ATEM mini Extreme so I can overlay a lower third on them. I can't figure out how to do this with only two laptops (possibly 3). Any help you could provide would really make this show will go off flawlessly.
