- In this video, Brandon Peltz shows some of the builds he has been doing for a studio in DC. He demonstrates an up desk with a TV and a camera mounted on them, all on a single cable reel. The camera is mounted with a pipe to the table and the TV is rigged onto the frame, making it easy to move around and get nice B-roll shots. Brandon also shares links for all the equipment used below, including affiliate links that help the channel.
He then moves on to a podcast set up with a wooden desk and low-profile microphones that have a USB port to plug directly into a laptop for Zoom calls. There are also RGB colored lights on swing arms that can be used to change the backdrop, with all the lights and stands on wheels for easy movement.
Finally, Brandon shows the video switching control room with a 43-inch LG monitor with a quad view, a multi-view from Black Magic, a program feed, and two displays for the Mac Studio. There is also an Ultra studio HD for lower thirds, and the control screen is for Atem Software control and pro presenter. Overall, the video provides a detailed overview of the equipment used in the studio and how it was set up.

Do you have a video that's more in-depth the standing desk setup? This whole setup is awesome dude!
This is incredibly cool!
I would LOVE to see how exactly you're mounting those cameras to the desk. I was able to see the basic parts, but I'm not sure how you're mounting the tripod head to the pipe.
Like others have said, I'm also super intrigued by the Up Desk Tripods. Been freeze framing the video to try and reverse engineer the process. Truly a unique setup that has my gears turning!
Great Video!!!
So you have all this amazing equipment and expertise building this incredible solutions but you can't get a microphone for the video?
In the UK its said that Americans don't understand irony LOL!
🔥🔥🔥
Yeah I would've invested in some sort of mic first. I usually skip any video with crappy sound like this tbh. Nice find with the up desk movable tripods though.. Thanks for sharing!
Hadn't seen that LG monitor before. Nice find for a quad or dual screen split if your sources are HDMI.
LG 43UN700-B ~$600
Nice configuration! Why do you use mac studio, will mac mini m2 pro be enough for this?
Do you use xlr inputs on cameras?
Do you experience 6-frame out-of-sync with atem? atem mini extreme iso hdmi looks like have this problem. Not sure about sdi models.
My word! useful but damn cant you get a lav mic?
Whats in the macro pack .
You should take a look at VMIX
The video description sounds like a machine wrote it
What's up with the audio? It's kind of exhausting to listen to.
And why is the order of segments in the video like this? "This is the end of the tour" in the middle of the video, no proper ending at the end of the video? What went wrong here?
