Building a Festival Stage: Prep to Tear Down

- This was the second Stage of the festival, Main stage was much larger but we had the creative freedom to do really whatever we wanted on our stage which we really appreciated and we think it turned out really well given our budget. The festival had 25,000 people total and our stage tent was 80ft wide by 150 feet deep. perimeter was 10ft tall with peak of tent at around 24 feet.
D&B Audio Rig, Mad Mapper, Pro Presenter and Black Magic Atem 2 M/E for video. GrandMA 3 Lite for lighting. Mad Mapper Computer had RTX 6000 and 256gb of ram all custom built from VFX Technologies!
I do Live AV Production Full Time as a freelancer with everything from planning, designing, site visits and workflows through the actual setup, wiring, running and sometimes tear down of the event.

What glass did you go with for the two shots? Curious to see if you’d go with 18-80 or 70-200 for your CU shot from that distance?

Good question. That is a stage display output from pro presenter.
Pro presenter laptop -> deck link duo sdi in sonnet enclosure -> stage display into multi view
Where is the cable management for backstage?
Just wondering how did you get that gopro feed? mini hdmi to sdi?
Micro hdmi to full size hdmi. Then black magic converter from hdmi to sdi into the deck link/video switcher.
Do you have a comprehensive max mapper tutorial? Look like that will need to replace my POW led screen software.
Not yet but I have a couple videos on mad mapper between this channel and the old A2Z channel. I do plan on making more tutorials on mad mapper though.
