I'm still trying to work out how to setup brakes (With the latest update, it now has more options with no explanation ) on a logitech 3d extreme pro, it was easier using a xbox controller... And Trim is messed up some how, i trim and it keeps moving in that direction, tap opposite trim and it keeps moving in that direction, SO annoying...

A-10 might be JUST fast enough to be able to do hit and run attacks against most WWII fighters though later war props could probably chase it down if their engines are cool enough at the start and the Me-262 could probably run circles around it (applies to P-80, Meteor, and He-162 for that matter), and an Me-163 with fuel remaining would just be death.

Anti-skid spoilers on, dont slam the on brakes only use 1/3 braking pressure. Touch down at about 125knots assuming you're clean.

I am a big fan of the A4 :) Such a cool module, keeps energy very nice in the dogfights! Thanks for making this tips video! I do have two questions, maybe someone watching this will know the answers Can the A4 use radio-navigation stations other than TACANs? The Syria Map is very sparse with TACAN stations for example- when playing on it on ECW, there isn't much to find your way around if you don't want to look into the map. Do we have more than one radio in the A4? I mean when I am on ECW I see 3 channels (with SRS connected) in the A4- but I can't switch to the 2nd and 3rd :(

Sounds like this could be a great server to play the Chinook once it's released, with the many logistics options!

last i time i joined this server i had an IFF issue...enemy MIGs were shown as friendly on my MiG-29 HUD....

Helicopter play is horrible (unless you're a masochist), but that is partly DCS core game fault with magic radars and missiles. Or maybe it is just Kiowa...who knows. jtac/operator sees everything. In 2 hours, no-one on discord voice channel...no GCI, nothing. My experience is meh at best. Interesting strategic/tactical ruleset but fun factor is somehow lacking

Are there no good servers that run Caucasus? Kinda getting a little frustrating since I keep learning about interesting servers but I rarely see Caucasus. Given it's the free map everyone has, this surprises me.

maybe a silly question but, do we have to do manual cold starts every respawn? Can we spawn hot or auto start?

An amazing server with randomization added to make each campaign unique. Currently all of Redfor's factories for making money are randomly all on the front line. Frustrating, but makes you work harder for all the resources. Great video!

My whole virtual squadron got so hooked on Contention lately we play it everyday

Problem is with these servers is they are weighted towards players flying the simple mode aircraft, Flaming cliffs basically, if you want to fly anything else that is not air quake then this server is not the one, you will end up frustrated by the missile spammers in 29's and 15's.

This sounds fantastic, and the huge variety of aircrafts, well, basically any and all existing ones is amazing, if it wasn't for this vid I wouldn't have known about it, thanks mate

Take it from a MI24 pilot that's the most frustrating thing you can ever do and yes it's very very EVIL!!!! i still laughed though cause the A10 pilot in me is grinning from ear to ear

I do really like the server. I've been flying the 109 with very good results. It's great for killing Apaches and A10s. Also, capping airfields. I've recently been sucked into U Boat. It's my 1st sub sim ,and a hell of a fun game.

Just started playing this server this weekend. Been using the trainers to attack the FARPs with FAC. One thing I've noticed even being hidden from the EWR, if you don't have a pretty active CAP overhead you will get knocked out pretty quickly. Loving this server so far. Looking forward to more videos showcasing its features, and hope to see you on the server.

I've been loving this server and my go-to server as of late.

I have been enjoying Contention, it's got a good balance between features and ease of use.

I was not able to get through this mission and after about three four attempts I gave up on the whole campaign... it was such a frustrating waste of time that I lost the desire to continue and even stopped flying the A10. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a great campaign. I admire you for finishing it. Great job!
