I've been training calisthenics for years, jump-throughs and L-sits are one of the things that hold people back, they are an essential position to master. So many skills build from that hip flexor and core strength.
Great exercise. I haven't been doing many of these types of exercises, I mainly sticked to the basics, dips, pushpups variations, rows and pullups. It's about time I start trainning the other calisthenic skills . I have to try this 💪

You can modify the squats but using lighter weight, shortening the range of motion or doing a goblet box squat

Doing the heels elevated squats with a barbell(even with a safety bar) looks pretty dangerous.... you might slip or loose ballance at any time. If you have access to heavy kettlebells why wouldn't you do heels elevated goblet squats instead?? - loading up in front of the body hits the quads for sure and you can make the movement harder by going slower and let the kettlebell drop in front of you whenever necessary.... Great workout, though!!!

I finally got into a great exercise habit, since late Jan. I haven't missed a day. I'm less than 15 min I can do a med. challenging KB workout and have had no; pulls, strains or pains. I just wake up and I'm ready to do it again.
