I agree with almost everything Kevin JB said, except that I think that it was actually COVID, and more specifically, lockdown, what brought back the neutral and "clean" trend, because before COVID we were all wearing 10 different eyeshadow colors to create one look, and carving our faces with makeup. Then, suddenly, we were staying at home, and wearing no makeup. So by the time we went back to the world we did it wearing less makeup than before and (after getting used to our bare faces) wearing a more neutral and natural palette.

Hi Johnny and Kevin! I thoroughly enjoyed this so much! Mr. Bennet reminded me so much of Way Bandy, who was my makeup hero when I was growing up! I even had his book Designing Your Face until Hurricane Sandy destroyed my house in 2012. Just the way they both were genius in makeup and design. I am in awe of Mr Bennet and the fascinating life he is leading! I see you, Johnny and Kevin, following Mr. Bennet’s path, you have h the same energy, work ethic, and passion for the things you love and believe in!

Great episode. I just wish Johnny wouldn't interrupt Kevin so many times and not letting him to finish the idea, specially when Kevin was talking about his own experiences

I've followed KJB for awhile but have a whole new respect for him now 🫶🏽 also I work in a building with our own manufacturing lab inside and I know no one there is using anything other than the nitrile gloves that he mentioned! And everyone in that lab is fully dressed in scrubs, gloves, hairnets, the whole nine. I'm glad the FDA is finally requiring ingredient lists because other industries (like mine) had to do that years ago - I didn't realize that wasn't a requirement yet! Love to all of you 💖💖💖

I feel like in the excitement of the episode Kevin got a bit swept to the side. He has such a great insight and unterstanding of things, I would love to hear more of it.😊

This was such an informative video today. I love hearing your guest to speak about all his knowledge and the history of the products he was discussing. I was feeling really burnt out and disillusioned. This video helped me feel like creating my make up art again. The difference between an influencer and an artist. 🤯

I’ve almost always flown Delta since I grew up in Minnesota, a Delta hub. Delta is pretty okay, bonus that they use Airbus instead of Boeing (because Boeing is sketch nowadays).

This was so interesting and informative! Thank you! I’m 62 but I’m here for the 90’s makeup. I was fascinated by the process of the manufactured. I’m so glad the afDA is headed to do some regulatory reform. I don’t mind paying the price of higher end products because they usually are so much better and the wear time is not a guessing game.
