In my original posting, the audio was slightly out of sync with the video, which has now been corrected. Plus Life On Mars? had a drop out (now restored) while Station to Station had a glitch (now removed). About. On the 20th November 1983, David Bowie performed his final Australian concert of the Serious Moonlight tour. This Betamax recording was taken from a sight screen feed made at that tim...

Taken from the the Stones last tour of the 60's and just prior to Altamont. This performance when released in the movie included footage of a DJ voiceover as well as behind the scenes at Altamont. In this version there is edited in different footage with partial overdub audio to make a complete performance. Hope you enjoy it.

In 1969, with a new Mick Taylor on board, the Stones recorded Hillside Blues (aka I Don't Know the Reason Why). To date it has never been released (don't know the reason why?!) . It might be overlong, but is still a showpiece of Mick Taylor's blues work. Keith weaves in well with him and Jagger is in cruisy form. Recorded at Elektra Studios, Los Angeles, October 1969, Vocal: Mick Jagger Weaving...

This was taken from a video source (Brisbane de-shaked) recorded at the Brisbane concert of the Who in March this year. I have extracted and remastered the audio. I think this is one of the best performances I have heard of this classic Quadraphenia track. Daltrey's voice is supurb and the band are right on song. Zac Starkey is having a ball.

Still can't help but believe that all three shows from both nights were probably filmed and certainly pro recorded and yet unreleased to this day (in their entirety)
Saw him in Göteborg 1983. It was complete garbage. The definite low-point in his career.
Cringe! Bowie goes to Las Vegas.
Je ne supporte pas le jagger face à Bowie tellement plus original
Bill Wyman - The bass leading the charge!
WTF
Not David Bowie's finest hour
is this on Lazerdisk?
Bowie made some very admirable efforts, but Bryan Ferry was the ultimate FASCIST !!!!
I remember the 80’s as the Aussi period of Bowie ….also he was the fauvorite rokstar of the surfers stuff…
Of all the Bowie shows I've seen, this is definitely the one I like the least (same as Bowie's look, plus his hairstyle and hair color 😵😩)
What a ridiculous thing to comment on.
why can't I give my opinion!? I love Bowie (whom I've seen 8 or 9 times since 1976) but this time I didn't like his look, especially since from ''Let's Dance'' it was a completely new Bowie (more commercial) which gave me a big shock, I didn't like Bowie from the 90s... me who had been an ABSOLUTE FAN since 1973.
@@franck6658 I hate the new Bowie album because of the picture on the cover!
David was always the consummate performer....
In many respects its enjoyable to watch a live performance which hasn't been digitally remastered...
WOW! So the Borneo Horns were actually from Borneo and David not only discovered them but picked them up on the Good Ship Bowie, quite literally. And fitted them out with quite snazzy crew outfits too.
Ridiculous heavy metal solo on Let’s Dance. Imagine if SRV had been given that amount of time for a solo on the record
It looks like Keef was really into The Jam
🙏👌👍💐💐💐...THANKYOU Trog 601 for this precious concert. If it wasnt for you, we wouldnt be enjoying this. Kiss& hug! ❤...I miss him terribly. I even have dreams of him. A gentleman 100%✝️
Thanks Barb, my absolute pleasure.
This was from the 3rd MSG show in NYC in November 1969..
This is not accurate. Music is not what the musicians are doing, in time. Music is no less great. Why fake it?
They should have rehearsed more. A lot more
🤡
At this point in their career this was the "new song from the new album" moment. Wow.
Cuánto se le debe agradecer al gran Chuck Berry?
I saw him at Edinburgh on this tour at Murrayfield Stadium. I was 15 and bunked- off school. Happy days!

Mick Taylor years were the best.
wonderful - DAVID BOWIE
Quando Jagger fica parado cantado seu canto fica mais blues.Agora quando ele resolve virar menina de bordel rebolando fica ridicula!
Thanks for adding chapter markers - I wish more videos did this.
Thanks Peter
Brilliant , from before Mick started all that embarrassing prancing around the stage looking like he's filming a f'ckin workout video . Look much cooler here just playing and singing the songs .
My name is called DISTURBANCE
Keith makin the g string talk!
Thanks for the devotion to get this gem out here for all of us unworthy masses. This was one of his best touring years and best bands for sure.
Thanks for that Tom, so glad you appreciate it.
Bills Wooferbass...Wauw.
Well i was standing in ore 13yrs old ,,New Zealand part of this concert,, thank you sister for turning me onto his music a few years earlier making it worthwhile to wag my first day at high school, hell even the teacher were quietly backing me,,cheers Ma,,definite crossroad ok f my future etchdd in memories to follow🤘✌️🙏💯

Worst Heroes take ever?
I wholeheartedly disagree, live singing is 💯 different than studio.
I'm afraid you're right.
@@AFMMarcelD'worst "heroes" take ever?' - A take on something = attitude/approach/interpretation. It suggests the overall approach, intro, arrangement - brass. The singing isn't necessarily the issue.
@@hazelwray4184 Yes, I understand all of the above, it may be my bias for David, love the man in everything he did, good and bad.
He owned the stage. There’s Pop stars and then the are real Pros who are famous and popular for the right reasons. Truly one of a kind Artists.
Saw this tour in Offenbach with massive full moon; one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
69 street fight man version... the best song ever
I would kill to see station to station live.
This was the end of an era. After this - that Glass Spider tour was HORRIBLE . I saw this tour at MSG in NY.
The only thing I don't like about the glass spider tour is the tracklist, because the songs on never let me down are terrible, but otherwise, I think it's a good tour, it was the fourth most successful tour of the entire decade of the 80...
Not just that -- Bowie went "totally 80s" on the whole look of the show- and the sound of the band was just so 1980s ...@@OnlyGoodMusic_
I saw it; it wasn’t Serious Moonlight but pretty fun.
"What in the World" ...weird deep cut.
Altamont had dark undercurrents. 😯🙄
Mick Taylor was such a tastey guitarist. By far the best in the Stones. But that said, Keif was unique and really rubbed off a lot more effectively.
