Eris didn't wake up and decide to leave. She decided to leave and then decided to have sex with Rudeus. You can tell based on how formal and awkward she was acting when she came to his tent. She thought of it as a way for her to give him something or thank him. Fair enough. But saying nothing beforehand to the one you claim to love is cowardice of the highest order and makes your "gift" seem tawdry and cheap. She got him to be as vulnerable as she could and then knifed him. Her reasons may have been as loving and honorable as can be, but the way she did it perfectly highlights why she needed to go. We can see that, but Rudeus can't and understandably draws the most logical conclusion given the evidence he has.

I always hated Myne from episode one, but when I got into the light novels and manga. Well lets just say any sympathy I had is gone. When people shat on a specific anime because theres something they don`t like. I am wondering why they even bother to attack it? Can`t they just turn away from it and ignore it? In my eyes its purely attention seeking. Also When you create a story/Game. A good way to make it feel immersive/Realistic is to include some darker stuff. Like Rudeus Sexual issues. Baldurs gate racism to Certain races. Also nudity in games. The world isn`t only good things and rainbows. Also bad and Dark things happen in it. So excluding bad things makes it feel Artificial and fake.

i recently saw someone saying (on Reddit) Redo of a healer was better than Mushoku Tensei for writing, in their words not exactly but the sum of what i remember "it makes more sense for what the character is doing in Redo than Rudy." they did mention the character is Redo is a psycho but still was trying to make some kind of downplay of Mushoku, now i hope they were a troll and not serious but after reading some of the people thoughts on the series/ip i would not be shocked.

Let me say that jobless reincarnation is my favorite story. I have spent the literal last year reading, watching and rereading and rewatching the show. But its because i have it all so fresh in my mind that I understand why people come to the conclusion that this show trys to play light into some bad stuff. Rudy has done some bad things and after he marries one girl, cheats on her with another girl and then marries a third girl, he starts to treat women better. BUT IT TAKES A LONG TIME BOTH I. AND OUT OF STORY TO GET THERE. and untill then you have to slog through scenes where the world justifies a 40 year old in a 10 year olds body doing bad things. Yes these are not hanious crimes in this stories world but they are in our world and it is okay for people to air there grievances about it. Rudy isn't a bad person but hes done bad things by our worlds standards and while I look past it for the sake of the awesome story and world building and fun characters, i have to look past it.
