The Ghoul, Cooper Howard, played by Walton Goggins in the Amazon Prime TV adaptation of the Fallout games, is a very interesting character, who ties together life in the wasteland with pre-war events in the series. In this Fallout theory video I want to talk about what may have happened to his family, and how he became a ghoul in the first place, based on lore from the Fallout games. While the answer to what happened to Barb and Janey, The Ghoul's family, will likely not be revealed until later in the series, there are certainly plenty of things we can theorize about based on season 1 and the Fallout games! - Krátké a kreslené filmy

So happy to see this posted here rather than remaining in the ether! Fallout has been a favorite of mine for a long time, and seeing it on TV at last was great. Can't wait to see more videos on the show! Of course, I also can't wait for Re:Zero S3 and all the videos you will likely make examining/theory crafting the web novel and the light novels.
Maybe they're in tranquillity loungers like from vault 112. Seems to be yet another way to survive 200 years in a vault.
Yeah, F3 does make that look possible, but I don't think they would use that for important people like Barb - like, what use would it be to have their top people in a simulation? For Janey, maybe, though.

A small thing i didn't get from the show was: why a Brain on a Roomba? i mean, it is funny, but why not just use a Robobrain? it's not like those didn't exist and we know of other pre-war people who used it tho, it would make more sense and be more useful imo.
About Cooper not going to the management vault, i believe he couldn't, if you noticed by the time the bombs fell he stopped working with Vault tec, even the outdoors with him advertising the vaults were changed to the classic vault boy instead, so either vault tec found out he knew the truth or he just couldn't stand working with them anymore, and in this case he might as well lose the right to the vault, and considering how bitter he is at the show i'd say his daughter was taken by force from him.

I have no idea why Bud wasn't a proper Robobrain, but it was funny and I guess we know the brain preserving tech exists so I think it was fine.

Perhaps it was for comedy, but I also think it shows just how little respect the higher ups in VT had for middle managers like Bud. They could have kitted him out in a top pf the line robobrain body with defensive and offensive systems... like those bastard robobrains that give me a hard time in the early game stages. But no, they showed him just what they thought of him by placing him in a roomba. And it fits his personality, he literally has to ask his target to stay still so he can poke him in the calf with a needle.
@@josephgibson7733 i'm not sure, VT usually equips the vaults well and it wouldnt make sense to leave Bud in a roomba since it could become a liability, just like it became when he was unable to stop an intruder
@Ricardo_Rick True except for one thing. VT equips the Vaults well... unless they decide not to for reasons.

fallout as a series is good. my friend loves the series enough to have read pretty much all the lore on the series and I've even got an MTG Commander deck based on the Moth Man from the series, a very broken commanders deck. can't say much on the TV series since I've not watched it because I don't own Prime and I'm just not much for live-action as a medium. but I'll trust your word that it's good.

Just watch Fallout and it is good given its live-action video game adaptation and the last attempt I can remember was Doom from 2005. So I was a little skeptical about how shows are written these days but I'd say it was a great show with great makeup, set design, and choice of shots used for the show.

Though more a theory as original game developers have come forward but Bethesda could always change lore if the wanted. China dropped the bombs first as a result of the FEV virus research. As bioweapon research was illegal. China found out told US to stop, US said they would stop but merely relocated the research. So Once China became aware of its continued research, along with loosing the war used nukes.

I don't think Cooper bought a place in one of the vaults, because he strikes me as someone who will die for what he believes or at least he was before turning into a ghoul, so maybe he expected to get into Barb's safe vault but they don't let him in
I think he would, because he knew for sure that the bombs would fall, and he was no use to his daughter or anybody else if he was dead. I don't think he would accept Barb's safe vault for himself, but maybe he would for Janey. I just think that the fact Bakersfield is mentioned and that's where the vault where everyone was exposed to radiation is was no coincidence.
@@NatalieXHunter No, I think the Vault 12 theory is really good, I didn't made the connection before watching your video but it makes a lot of sense. Personally I cannot wait for season 2 and more of your vids!
I mean, he could have been in vault 12 even if he didn't buy a place there, given the door wasn't sealed and it was people from the town trying to get in there that brought the radiation in the first place. He knew where the vault was, as we know from the show, so he could also have been one of the people that accessed it after it should have been sealed. Either way, I think he has links to vault 12 and Necropolis.
Man, all they had to do was not touch Shady Sands for me to love this show.
I didn't really care about the NCR so it didn't bother me that they decided to have Shady Sands have fallen, but as long as what Todd Howard said is now what they're going with and Shady Sands was destroyed after NV, it's not really messing with the West Coast canon from the games. What I'm interested to find out is, why does this chapter of the BoS all have Roman style names, like the Legion? We've never seen BoS have these names before, they always just had normal names that were presumably what they were born with, rather than stuff like Maximus, Thaddeus and Titus. It would seem so weird for the Legion and the BoS to work together, given the Legion shuns tech, but then, both factions don't want other people to have it, and the Legion does grow by assimilating tribes, maybe there was something that caused this BoS chapter to assimilate into the legion in some way?
