Me, I’ve been working so much overtime, and my schedule alternates from working graveyard and days so my mind is a bit topsy-turvy!!! I’m so glad you liked my fairy creation!! It’s been years since I crafted a fairy book, let alone 3 fae books!! 😂🤣😍

Although a bit exaggerated, I do very much appreciate your kind words of phrase. I wanted to let you know I don't think a swap is possible anytime soon. I have slowed down, I'm 73 years of age you know? So I find it difficult to keep up with the demand and don't feel like I could add more to my plate. I do have a wait list and my poor clients have to wait too long as it is. If I were five or ten years younger I would love to swap journals with you but I am almost ready to throw in the towel. Your journals are works of art and very special. There are not many journal makers that do the detailed work that you do so beautifully. I love your work so keep it up and I will keep watching you. @@bettycalkins9748 definitely not exaggerated as anyone with eyes to see and a brain to be awestruck will whole-heartedly agree with my thoughts of your artwork. I put you up there with Jibid. You both take journal crafting to another level!!!!!! Seriously!!!! 😍😍😍. As for the rest of your reply…i knew a journal swap was farfetched, but I completely understand. I use to do the custom journals, but with my way of crafting (esp with the detailing and embellishing that I can’t seem to stop myself from doing) along with family and work life, I can’t keep up with my waiting list. It became too much of a job instead of an enjoyment and I made several people angry due to the long wait times. That experience stole a lot of my zeal for creating last year. Now, I try to create whatever inspires me and whoever messages me first on Instagram is who I sell my books to. So, I entirely know the feeling of wanting to throw in the towel. Sometimes it’s best to hibernate for a while so you can come back refreshed and ready to tackle a project you’ve been itching to do. I hope you’ve been able to whittle your list down. That way, you can eventually craft something that strikes your fancy and sell (if you want to) to whomever’s interested first with no pressure or strings bogging you down. The only problem with this method is when you craft something you really, really love, it’s hard to let it go, lol. 😂 So, my dear Betty, be it years from now or whenever you deem it fitting, it would be an honor to craft something worthy of your consideration in hopes you’re persuaded to swap with me. Until that long-fated day, I will resume my stalking of your fb page as I never tire of watching your fb videos!!!! 😍🥰🥰😍

@@craftylore8417 Yes, nursing is a very hard profession! Have you ever thought of trying case management? It can be really interesting. I love retirement and I also make books. Stop it! You’re too kind! I have been soooo busy with homeschooling and just major life changes that are about to go down. We have a big move coming up in the next few weeks. I have a journal that I’m almost finished with-I think I’ve been working on it over a year but it’s not as amazing as your journals always are. 😂😂😂😂 I’m blushing so hard right now while I’m on break from work!! lol, one of the doctors who I work for always recognizes me on the phone and I asked him, “how did you know it was me?” He replied with a laugh and said it’s because I’m the only nurse who sounds like I’m still an adolescent!!!! lol omg, I still get embarrassed to do any public speaking, but generous comments like yours definitely help me trudge on past my misgivings!!!! @@craftylore8417 How lucky your patients are to be cared by for you! My Mom was a nurse. We lived in a small town and for years after she retired I heard many stories of what a wonderful nurse she was. She passed away at 80 and the funeral director told us that because of her age and being in a care home for a number of years, we shouldn't expect many people at the funeral. The Church was so packed they had seat people in the basement. Please never underestimate what a noble profession you have chosen and the lasting impact you will have on those under your care! I will never forget my Dad's palliative care nurse. Because of her compassion and skills, we got almost an extra year with him before he died. Sorry about telling you my life story lol! I look forward to your next video!

Yes, I do sell most of my creations to whomever first messages me on Instagram as I usually post up photos on IG when the book is about 80% completed prior to posting the finished journal on CZcams. This book has been sold though. My next project will most likely be with one of my favorite digital creators, Jarf from medieval mirage unless (due to my ADHD 😂) something else sparks my creative juices to ensue an alternate route, lol. Very rare to happen because if you’ve visited Jarf’s Etsy store, her beautiful kits ensnares one’s imagination. Her work is a true “rabbit hole” of inspiring creativity!!! 😂😂.
