- Grab some snacks y'all because you're in for a treat!! Behold, another beastly journal of all secret happenings in the forest for Tina's Shabbydabbydoodah design team!! This behemoth of a journal is 7.75 x 3.5 inches with a 3-inch spine (Should have done a six-inch spine, lol!). It features 4 signatures with over 180 pages, not including mini pages and booklets. I've also used some public domain images, and pages from my own collection salvaged from a few forest books and from an 1887 illustrated novel. Please find the links and information of all who inspired me in the making of this forest creature down below.

Aww Debra!! Thank you!! Please forgive my late reply!! I haven’t been able to craft as much lately due to work but I am slowly working on some projects. Once this COVID thing fades into the darkness a bit, then I’ll be able to put in more crafty hours. But you’re right!! This particular theme is my favorite and I loved this book so much while creating it. I hope you’re putting in some crafty time for me and if you have any social media where you put up some of your art (I know, I said social media, ewww 😂😂😂 but it’s a way to connect and to support other artists. This is a fantastic journal. I would NEVER call it a JUNK journal. Simply beautifully done. Inspiring. The image of the women in the water must be an oil painting by Dante Gabriel Rosseti a Preraphaelite painter from the mid 1800's. I'm a painter and I love that period in Art History.

I love tiny things, too!! Tiny anything! I even subbed to the tiny kitchen channel to make tiny food on tiny plates for my tiny hamster. I even made tiny placemats and menus... don’t judge!
Each of my journals has a handmade tiny leather journal (w 2 tiny signatures) & itty bitty tags, botany & insect or pics (from those tiny vellum Atelier books) even tiny handmade stamps!
Wow! There went my junk journal add that happens when I get excited! Forgive me!
Anyway, I Love all the pressed flowers between acetate you use.... and naturally I’m going to steal your tiny constantina book idea! Lol. (Sorry if that’s misspelled. My autocorrect refused to let me type it and I gave up after 13 attempts.) Beautiful journal!
I have never seen a single piece that combines so many beautiful things with so much detail & work involved. That’s a masterpiece that was obviously created with a love of crafting!

This is fabulous, I got several great ideas. I like how you put extra pages in at an angle. The woodland theme is beautiful with all the old design illustrations. The amount of detail you put in is staggering

Lol!!! 🤣🤣 Lesly!!! I know!! I can never remember which particular kit I use because I never stick to one kit. I do up to 3-4 kits per journal!! 😂😅 And I also noticed that I say beautiful or gorgeous a lot in my journals!!! *Le sigh* one of the many reasons I’d rather not speak during my videos. But the more I talk and stumble through my words, the better I’ll get, eventually- I hope (though, it will likely take years…, I’m a lost cause, lol )😂😍😍🥰

This journal is to die for!! What a fabulous gator mouth of a masterpiece!! This is so my style....anything plants, nature, insects, Forest.....wow!! I’ve been collecting and pressing flowers and leaves from my garden and trying to come up with ways to use them. Your attention to detail and so many little pieces and parts is astounding!! It seems you use a lot of magazine pages (like the ones of the “blurry” sun thru leaves pages)...I love so many of my magazine images and have trouble thinking of how to use them because they are thin and shiny lol. I love how you stitched on those faux leaves to the page ends....super cool! CZcams suggested your video for me...CZcams knows me too well lol. TYFS!!
