Sick In Mumbai... But The Vlog Must Go On!
On my first visit to India, 10 years previous, I suffered from the inevitable Delhi Belly. It wasn't pretty.
This time, I'd had minor issues but nothing too serious. I was thinking that 2 years of continuous travel had made me strong enough to cope with the questionable hygiene. I was wrong.
Putting my symptoms into google strongly suggested I had giardiasis. I can only apologise for those that had to share a dorm with me and listen to me visiting the toilet every 10 minutes through the night. It was pretty grim.
But, I got over it and extended my stay in Colaba so I could explore the area fully and continue to bring you the superb content you've come to expect :)
Join me as I fully explore the Colaba district of Mumbai!

First Day In Mumbai Ends In Thieve's Market!
zhlédnutí 344Před 4 hodinami
My first exploration of the Colaba district in Mumbai, India saw me end up in the thieve's market. Here you can see just how NOTHING is wasted in this city. Everything gets recycled and it is a popular place for film producers looking for old pieces of furniture for their period films. Before I discover the market, I come across some amazing architecture and get a feel for this busy city. Join ...
Cheap Travel In Mumbai!
zhlédnutí 296Před 9 hodinami
My time in Rajasthan had come to an end and I took a cheap flight to the city of Mumbai. I had never visited Mumbai before apart from a transfer flight from Delhi to Kerela. I remembered seeing all the slum areas that surrounded the airport. I was looking forward to exploring this densely populated city. But first things first. I had to make my way from the airport to the Colaba district where ...
Taking In Some Culture In Udaipur, India
zhlédnutí 447Před 14 hodinami
I had enjoyed my time so much in Udaipur, I extended my stay. I still had a few things to check out before I moved on. The first place I wanted to visit was the City Palace. I was staying close to it but had only seen it from afar. Work on the palace began in the 16th century and it has been the home of 11 rulers. On my final full day, after a traditional Indian breakfast of bacon and egg sandw...
Almost Crushed To Death At An Indian Festival!
zhlédnutí 674Před 19 hodinami
It was my second full day of exploring the city of Udaipur. I had noticed that the city seemed to be preparing for a festival. No-one could tell me what it was for or when it would begin but I came across a busy area where it seemed that something was about to happen. I was not prepared for what came next. Join me as I genuinely feared I would be crushed to death in the city of Udaipur, India! ...
Could Udaipur Become My New Favourite Indian City?
zhlédnutí 214Před dnem
I was getting closer to the end of my 2 years of consecutive travel and I reached the city of Udaipur. Known as both the 'City of Lakes' and the 'Venice of the East', I had heard good things about the city. It took a couple of days to get out and explore as I arrived just as a cyclone that had been heading up western India had reached the city. Join me as I wander aimlessly around a lively and ...
Caught In The Rain Of Jodhpur, India!
zhlédnutí 305Před dnem
It was my final day in Jodhpur, India and it seemed that the monsoon was about to hit. I risked a walk to Jaswant Thada and as the rain finally stopped, I continued on to Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park where I would be out in the open and at risk from the elements. It didn't go entirely to plan. In the evening, I discovered a city that was not capable of coping with the torrential rain it was exper...
Getting My Mojo Back In Jodhpur, India
zhlédnutí 562Před 14 dny
Sometimes, you just get a good feel for a place. And so it was when I arrived in Jodhpur after another long, uncomfortable 7 hour journey from Bikaner. On first impressions, there wasn't really anything that different about this city. But, for some reason, I just knew I was going to enjoy my time here. Join me on my first wander around Jodhpur as I explore the fort and the blue city. If you lik...
Would You Visit The Temple Of 25,000 Rats?!
zhlédnutí 169Před 14 dny
Whilst I was in the city of Bikaner, I was aware that I was pretty close to the Karni Mata Temple. A Hindi temple and pilgrimage site, it is known around the world because of its rats. In the temple, there are approximately 25,000 rats. Visitors have to remove their shoes when visiting. Some visitors sit and drink and eat with the rats as they are considered holy. Obviously, this doesn't sit we...
Am I The Only Western Tourist In Bikaner, India?
zhlédnutí 753Před 14 dny
After an uncomfortable 7 hour bus ride from Ajmer, I arrived in the city of Bikaner. Judging by the looks I was getting from the locals as I tried to find my hotel and the less than friendly reaction of the street dogs, Bikaner was not used to having many western tourists! I discovered a dusty, desert city with some impressive architecture and a great fort. Finding coffee was a little more diff...
This Indian City Was Too Stressful!
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed 14 dny
On my journey to Pushkar, I passed through the city of Ajmer. It looked a lively place so I decided to spend a couple of nights there on my way to my next destination. A couple of friends had said it was worth a visit. My hotel was right in the main bazaar and I think this, and the fact I'd just spent 3 nights in Pushkar, made my stay here a stressful one! Ajmer is BUSY! And I probably had more...
Beer Hunt In A Dry Indian Town - Pushkar
zhlédnutí 794Před 21 dnem
Whilst chilling in my accommodation to escape the intense heat, I had discovered that a 20 minute walk away from the lake of Pushkar, there was an actual bar! And it served meat curries! Meat and alcohol are 2 things that are not available in Pushkar. I knew it meant heading into the unknown, but the lure of mutton and Kingfisher Strong was too tempting. It was an interesting journey to say the...
Pushkar - Where Did All The People Go?
zhlédnutí 650Před 21 dnem
India is always full of surprises and I certainly got one when I left my accommodation for my second day in the wonderful city of Pushkar. I was expecting it to be as busy as it had been the previous day but I found a pretty empty town! It didn't matter as I was heading to some of the attractions away from the central lake. I had a few unexpected discoveries on my exploration, including TWO Pin...
India Comes Alive! Why Pushkar Became My Favourite Town In India.
zhlédnutí 537Před 21 dnem
My travels in the Rajasthan region took me to Pushkar, a small but significant town that is a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Sikhs. I knew as soon as I arrived that I would enjoy it here. It had a great atmosphere and felt like the India I had wanted to discover but had not yet truly found. It was a real assault on all the senses. In this vlog, I explore the area around the Pushkar lake. J...
A Huge Fort, A Submerged Palace And A Fantastic Curry - Jaipur India
zhlédnutí 223Před 28 dny
On my final day in Jaipur, I headed 20 km out of the city to the huge Amer Fort (sometimes known as Amber Fort). I planned on taking a bus but it was proving impossible to find so I put on my haggling head to secure a tuktuk. The fort is huge, much bigger than the fort I had visited the previous day. Built in the 16th century, it is now Jaipur's nost visited attraction with over a million peopl...

Thieves market ..keep out , only magpies there ....no kingfishers 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on your video, really very good allows you to see aspects that many bloggers forget. Greetings from Argentina,
Great tour and video man ! I am enjoying your travels throughout India. Even tho Maharishi's ashram is now an abandoned ruin, the mountain views, the sound of the Ganges, the trees and shrubs, birds, and "apes" ( as Ringo referred to them) would all still be pretty much the same as they were, the February 1968 visit. And, you picked, I think, the most appropriate song to sing at the Beatles Ashram Tiger Reserve ! ;). Would like to make the trip myself, so it's very useful right now to follow your footsteps. "
What with your views Mate?

About foreign credit cards not being accepted, even some major Indian air lines do not accept foreign credit cards. Talk about encouraging foreign tourists.🤨
It's mad innit.
Should have gone for a sunset trip on a boat on the lake .. you can get them from just outside the Palace
Hey bud a tip: those flashing lights in some of the scenes like the store are due to you filming @60 hz. If you film at 50hz, that will usually correct that flashing lights in artifical light situations.
I don't know why you bother. You make some great content, but for some reason no one wants to know.
He needs to synch CZcams with other social media like fb/ insta and tik tok in order to get noticed quickly
I stumbled here a few months ago, I enjoy the content and boots on the ground kind of thing. Doesn't take himself too seriously, I find it genuine and interesting . I look forward to the uploads and have turned a few buds from work into watchers .
I bother cos I like making videos of my travels. They're for me, really. Obviously, I'd like more viewers but not much I can do about that.
Great video.
I don't know what you did... but the 'color' of the video looks better than the others... good job dood
Maybe he cleaned the lens 😂😂😂😂
Probably as simple as that! 😄
Move to next State....You are stucked in Rajasthan😁

Had this happen to me and my friends tonight, we had nothing and we said we committed no crime and we were released. Was still scary. The police should be policed.
And all the comments on here defending them. Totally corrupt. They need stopping.
It was the festival of the crocs wearer. Seriously, don't join such parades if you don't know what it is because if it is not a BJP parade you could be deported and visa revoked.
That never happens...foreigners are not allowed to get themselves involved in political protest rallies..only then will you invite trouble from govt
he will get deported even if it's a BJP parade .lol . political work not allowed for foreigners.
Hindi temple? Never heard of it. Hindu temple yes. 😂
Udaipur, the Venice of India. Beautiful place. Dont bother with the dry state of gujarat 😂😂😂
If you plan for Gujarat, Go to Dwarka, Porbandar, Veravel route in Coastal Gujarat. Also, visit Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Statue of Unity.
Nice video.... You have covered Rajasthan very well.
The cafes, e.g. the Exotic which is upstairs at Tooti Chowk (the 3-way junction on Main Bazar Rd) are good for a reasonably priced beer in Paharganj. The bars are always terrible lol
A rainy night in Jodhpur A rainy night in Jodhpur It seems like it's rainin' all over the world I feel like it's rainin' all over the world 🤠

Do you planning go to Sri Lanka?
I had the same sim problems in Margoa. Only the shops geared towards tourists have a phone especially for the activation code as the person recieving the code takes on responsibilities for the new sim card. Great vids!
Your channel name sounds like a bakery shop
I suggest go with a friend or find a local to help around.

When you crossed that bridge on the lake and showed the view from two sides of the bridge, an apt summary of what you will find in India. However, as you start moving away from big cities to smaller towns and to the south of India, the vibes will improve.✌
Glad you are starting to enjoy yourself , I was starting to rethink having visiting India on my bucket list .
Go to Delhi, Rajasthan(Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer), Agra, Shimla, Manali, Amritsar if looking for Northern India Only, You will enjoy a lot. Delhi & Jaipur are overcrowded so use private cab and stay in best location near Airport.
