I tried this (admittedly with a slight overhaul to vampirism) amd can confirm that the Archmage's Amulet is busted together with the Atronach birth sign and vampirism. Together with Marara's Ring I couldn't be touched be anything less than Silver Weapons.

If you could have found a way to get past that first 50 door, I would have liked to have seen you put the effort into get the cure blight enchantment legitimately. A large part of what makes these challenged runs interesting is the nonstandard and unique ways that the problems in them have to be solved, and skipping over them just because it takes too long removes some of that magic

Lethality doesn't necessarily correlate to pain level. Carbon Monoxide poisoning is very deadly but I imagine gila monster venom is way more painful

13:20 not only are the "archer slits" or a balistraria, usually used for archery, there are also cases where they will jut a shortsword, dagger, or spear out the hole as the assailants are climbing ladders, since the best place to put a ladder is right above the slits in the wall. this allows for the attackers to be funneled into ladders with swords right behind them. should they choose another place to climb, it is usually either somewhere there are soldiers waiting to fight them, or it is flat out better defended. so yes, the "archer slit" is historically accurate! Edit because i couldnt leave it at just this. Looking back at the castle you were in, its pretty accurate. there are usually lockers or extra bows nearby for easy refills. the bow on the shelf is a longbow, which explains why the slit is taller and has no perpendicular lines. longbowmen would need to stand up to shoot correctly. the stairs nearby go counter clockwise UPWARD because right handed fighters would have the advantage. (the attackers coming down would be trying to slice through the pillar. the attackers going up essentially have a bigger area to swing) this particular design is used when you want to fight UP when defending. for this to work correct, you usually need to be really heavily defended in the front in order to keep people coming in from the top longer.

The Archer Slit thing isn't a myth, though the ones portrayed in game aren't exactly accurate. The inside should have a large sort of cone like cut out before you get to the slit so its easier to maneuver around and aim from inside, if you think of like a window seat you have a generally correct idea, but the fundamental concept is correct. They were also called Arror Loops or Loop Holes.

My rant for the engagement: I really, really wish TES approached the idea that Enchanting is capital e Evil. You are using the soul of the bunny to power a battery. With the Soul Cairne, we know for a fact that anything soul trapped is forced into a permanent purgatory. The Nords should view Enchanters with the same disgust as a Necromancer considering their whole "I want to go to feast in Sovngarde." Plus I just think it is a neat idea to maybe have a city that soul traps convicted criminals shortly before their execution. Taxes are low and the executed have been convicted of a terrible crime, don't they deserve permanent punishment? Ethically sourced Black Soul Gems.
