Thanks for the shoutout! Honestly, it was kinda cathartic watching you go through some of the same struggles as me. Some of the spells in Morrowind have really unintuitive behaviour and even behave differently depending on whether you're using the base engine or OpenMW. Many of the older videos/resources that document gameplay behaviour aren't always congruent with the OpenMW implementation. Great video as usual! Keep it up, you're doing wonders for the Morrowind renaissance.

Dagoth Ur is not just a creature. And certainly not a thing. And ofcourse he is not a humanoid. He is a God! How could you mind control a God? What a grand and intoxicating innocence...
Almalexia and Vivec are also creatures. Must be an engine thing, to give them unique stats that humanoid NPCs can't have.

Developer oversights leading to kidnapping the Heart are easily one of my favourites, bug related or otherwise like simply being a design oversight they tend to lead to some of the silliest shenanigans a game can offer.
It's a shame that games nowadays would have that patched out. Sometimes you gotta let the jank live. Stuff like that has always made Bethesda games so much fun.

I honestly thought Command Creature would only work on hounds and guars, because most other games never actually let those kind of spells be powerful. Morrowind lets magic work.

I love how the Heart is an NPC that isn't immune to command like it should be.

Calling levitate on target a "poor man's paralysis" fanned my appreciation for everything you do even more.
It's a genuinely brilliant use of existing game mechanics that I sorely miss in the modern titles.
I literally had to laugh out loud when you were in the heart chamber, the voice clip plays saying "no recall or intervention!" and immediately went "oh, good way to start levelling up my mysticism" lol... and then when you actually DID steal the heart, I did NOT see that coming lol, I love how Morrowind still keeps surprising me after 22+ years... I NEVER thought you could do that

I appreciate your approach to sponsorships. Its refreshing after seeing hundreds of other channels in the last 15 years i've been on here take sponsor money from random companies making products the creator doesn't use or in some cases understand.
At some point the audience understand that the creator does it for the money. You know he doesn't use or want anyone else to use it. I understand some ppl who do that and don't have a problem with it personally.
Imma be honest; any product that advertises so heavily on CZcams is probably a product I can safely ignore. And if I were to actually need one of the services on offer, I could just look for an alternative that is almost guaranteed to be cheaper and better because they didn't pump their budget all into marketing.

Since this video was the debut of a new entry in the "easy money in Balmora I haven't shown yet" list, I thought I'd throw it out there that Ra'virr the trader in Balmora has around 13k worth of demon/fiend weapons on his person and has no shop guard :)
I didn't know the guard tower one! Very neat; Balmora alone could make you the richest being in Vvardenfel :D

Jumping to the Skaal village was interesting cause to landing on the big snow pile. Snow is actually good at cushioning impacts from great heights, so it might've helped you to survive.
I love morrowind and I have been looking for excuses to get back into it and your videos are the perfect excuse. Really entertaining, creative and just highlight how many ways you can go through playing the game as well as breaking it

For White Woe you can also jump on a jar. For whatever reason, even with low sneak and the guard staring at you, you can take the sword no issue.

Tip for spellmaking: each time you cast a spell it removes and replaces the effect placed by the same spell earlier so making the spell have an overtime effect above 2 seconds is inefficient and a waste of spell points when spamming the spell.
About spell effects being weird if applied for 1 second: If a spell is created with a 1 sec duration the effect is instant (in case of damage or heal) and lasts only a split second (in case of fortify). If you increase the duration in the spellmaking menue to 2 seconds, and decrease it again to 1, then the effect lasts/is applied over the whole second

5:15 I was wondering for some time if you know it and it's simply a self-imposed rule to not grab items by freezing the world by opening the inventory when it makes stealing easier and more importantly it makes grabbing things like a key lying on a certain shelf during Solstheim quest quite trivial. I didn't want to sound like a pain in the rear know-it-all so just decided to let you have your share of fun and never mention it assuming that was just for the challenge.
At least we have that thing cleared out.

In case it hasn't been mentioned before, scrolls of windwalker/windform are some of the greatest ways to get around in areas that aren't covered by other fast travel, such as the northwestern coast and the southeastern lava fields. Every merchant who sells scrolls has a chance to sell them, and they're always worth the septims if you find some. They turn you invisible and give you 500 points of levitation, so you can fly across huge distances without fear of drawing any aggro. Combining it with slowfall is a good idea, as it is easy to get carried away and the effect only lasts 30 sec (iirc), but it makes getting back to the ashlander camps a literal breeze if you don't want to move your mark location. If you get a stockpile, it makes crossing the map a fun and cliff racer-free experience.
