okay so vehicles get hotter then houses or even tents. Did she ever freeze the filter
Can you use a cast iron pan with this stove?
Lo bueno es que tienes grabado que se rompió al primer uso. Amazon provee.
Put a log under the grill and set the pie iron on the grate so it doesn’t burn.
Wow..this video is a joke 🤦♀️ it’s really not that hard
There are no traction boards made for spinning your tires unnecessarily on them. You didn’t explain in the video what you were trying to do during the “tests”, you only showed the car from the front with your tires smoking. 🤔
I am Korean, but my pronunciation is so good that it helps me study English
I've been thinking of getting one of these. I'm a Trangia person. I think I would mostly leave the kettle bit behind and have the rest of the kit with a Trangia spirit burner. I like the way it all nests together.
Should be Karen’s Outdoor Adventures or Lack of Common Sense Adventures….
You've only made me love my Windmaster even more - it's a beautiful thing! And I love all things charbroiled!
I have a electric blanket that I bought on Amazon and it has a timer on it.
I use one of these with an small alcohol burner. I have a Webasto diesel heater in my VW T4 campervan but wanted to make sure I had a backup in case of problems when I was in very cold climes. I did not like the look of the coat of paint on the top section so I burned that off with a blow-torch before the first time I used it.
She is either acting or really not too ... I bought one and it sets up easy peasy. Everyone should unsubscribe to this disaster.
All those stoves have 1 problem .the burner is so small that they r good only to boil water in a mug . The flame is to concentrated to use a pan .
If you run a more AT type tyre, should be not issue gripping the board. Personally for a test, would have found some soft sand. My Subu Outback wilderness would never have an issue on that dry trail.
Dang, this thing flat packs super thin and it's not too expensive, I'd be worried about the bowing though. Great Video ❤
Good review. Thanks for posting. 👍
I don't think the mini board is the issue. I think it's your car. That is a simple dirt road. Your car shouldn't have any issue getting through that. I own a Subaru and I go through mountain pass in the logging roads in the Catskills and Adirondack Mountains in NY state with deep snow and mud. I go through deep sand and steep hills in the Carolinas and Maine. I own the same traction boards but never had a chance to use them because I have never gotten stuck. I hope I'll never have to use them. Having the right tire for the adventure also makes a big difference.
I have a FWD with all terrain tires. A Subaru is apples and oranges to my car.
I have a Subaru Outback and was highly considering this exact awning for car camping. I currently have a rear hatch awning by Kelty but wanted something for the driver side. How has it been handling for you? Seems like lots of frustration- but maybe you got the swing of things on how to set up, etc. would you recommend?
Great video Rachael
These are great to use. Many times ive used one. I have a 40 yr old original copper one, from Ireland. Still in box. I agree with making a longer handle/ chain for lifting.
So you just block people when they tell you what you need to hear? If you go to the gym 1 hour a day for 30 days, and be depressed for 23 hours a day for 30 days…at the end of 30 days your life will start to change. And maybe you will slowly ease out of your rut. Truth hurts. Don’t block it…embrace the truth Rachel. It’s time….it’s time Rachel. Enough with the bs
Agreed. She needs to listen to you

Feces ... Really!! you first
I have the soto amicus cook set. So far after a year it's been a great set. And the stove it's self has been really great.
Women
I have one but but u should open window they are very toxic
Probably not the best person to do the review
I have an awning like this that is even cheaper than the SS. It is not hard to set up this and similar awnings. Here are the steps. 1. Unzip and undo, Velcro straps holding the awning inside the bag. Mine has 3 so I undo the two outside straps first and the middle strap keeps the awning from falling out of the bag. Then I undo the last strap when I’m ready to have hold of the awning. 2. Unfold the awning only about a foot or so and toss it up over the outside protective pouch so it rests on the vehicle’s roof. It’s still mostly folded at this point 3. Take the two upper poles and rotate them to the sides at least perpendicular to the vehicle so they are not in your way for the next step, but still close at hand. 4. Take the awing and proceed with unfolding it out fully. Deploy both support legs, but only lengthening to about chest height and lock the support legs. Slightly angle the poles towards the vehicle. This is where most first timers have problems I think. 5. Continue to support the awning while you insert the top poles, extending as needing and locking securely. It’s important the awning be held taught when inserting the top poles otherwise if slack is allowed in the awning the support legs can’t do their job and it’s just a mess. 6. After both top poles and inserted and twisted tight, then raise the support legs to your desired height and re-tighten them. Finish by securing all the Velcro straps to the top poles and you are done. This whole process takes me under 2 minutes. Again it’s important the tarp be taught not floppy and don’t forget to always use the guy lines to secure the awning. I do this even in light winds because you never know when the wind will suddenly pick up. Hope this helps. There are some really good videos showing the proper technique for deploying these style of awnings. Hope this helps.
good video. So these are safe for the front of awd suv's? regular chains hit my front struts
Check your owners manual. It will tell you what tires you can put them on.
You’re supposed to open up the legs last… which is why you have issues lmao. I’ve seen others set it up easily.
Just an idea: buy a real electric blanket, Light Socket to Plug Adapter and 100' extension cord. Use your creativity, some parks have light bulbs going all night, unscrew bulb, plug in adapter, attach extension cord to plug in and electric blanket and walla, heat... Commercial building more likely than not, have exterior electric plug ins...you get the idea
Got a tell you , this was very painful to watch 😂😂😂😂
that was very helpful - thanks
Good video! I like how you show them being put on in the snow. Recently a small foldable shovel helped me remove enough snow from the bottom of the tire to give me enough slack to connect up my chains.
I have it for over 2 years now maybe same time with you. I used it for first time on my winter bikepacking trip to Orkney island. It was live saver as could heat my tent having it just outside of the entrance and could dry my wet boots and clothes. It did a really great job. Wouldn’t use it inside my Campervan tho.. it does look dangerously hot and could cause some serious troubles. But someone on a tent would recommend it 100%
As soon as you showed putting them on In The Snow I had to Like and Subscribe. It's a totally different animal when compared to a heated garage demonstration that too many others make. No manufacturer is going to show it at night in the on the side of the road.
Why would they? The point of the manufacturer video is to show you on camera. With poor lighting on the side of a highway you wouldn't be able to see the video very well.
Appreciate the feedback Laser! I take pride in showing products in the field. It's very time consuming but worth it!
Get an air quality monitor if you're going to do this. The gas stove is very close to you and puts out pollutants faster than a cracked window can handle. You'd be surprised how quickly CO2 climbs even in a ventilated home kitchen. CO2, CO, NOx and PM2.5 have measurable effects on health and cognitive function, even well below poisoning thresholds.
14 F or C ? Big difference
While the engine is on the voltage will be 14 volts. Therefore it will be hotter and it will draw more watts.
Does the cable disconnect from the blanket for washing? The one I have doesn’t have a cable that can be disconnected so I can’t wash the blanket. :(
Home Depot has a rubber mat to kneel on it helps
Hi. This is funny. It's really pronounced "Say bow Heat", and the name must have been thought up by a former tank (as in Fort Knox) armor crewman. The two words are for two different type of tank rounds (Sabot for an anti tank round, and Heat for a round that destroys buildings). Armor crewmen are like headquarter's clerks (they all have sit down jobs). They are lazy. They are called 'chairborne rangers'. I think this invention was thought up by an ex-armor crewman, and it's a message to other tankers to buy it and take it to the field.🙂
OCD here. Immediately after I heard her say “sabot”, I corrected her in my mind (silent “t”, (short “a”)), despite not being an authority. Thank you for the interesting backstory. (I’ve a passing interest for tank technology especially concepts and advancements in armor piercing and protection.)😅

The cat should sleep under the covers with you. It's too cold for a cat.
Yeah, put the chains near the gas and brake pedals. Thats smart.
Good grief, you're one of those. The chains were placed there TEMPORARILY.
Thank you😊
Good video. Keep them coming.
Thank you I appreciate you and hope you’re going to share with us your experience when you can aloha
I think those black melted chunks you were pulling off the boards was melted rubber from your tires. If the tires are spinning wildly like that, probably should reassess your situation and try a different strategy rather then melt the tires. Try moving the boards to the rear tires or back out of the rut in the road rather then going forward?
Maybe use jack stand ? That would be helpful so no one will struggle to put them on
