  • I purchased these tables a few years ago because I liked that they packed up small, are lightweight, and aluminum. After one camping trip out with these tables, I never brought them again.

    If you lay the table on the ground upside down the pins on these tables go in a lot easier. Plus they are the most stable and you can cook with twig stoves because of the metal surface.

    I've never used those tables, but I agree with your review. Because I bring so much gear with me, I need things to be easily accessible.

    Looks like a child's CAD project.
    It would make more sense to have the parts hinged, so you could unroll the top, flip it over and it would be rigid.

    Thank you! I will be buying an aluminum table as my only table and your demo was invaluable as a definite NO. Sticks are difficult to assemble and if they get lost, no table! Also want full height table.

      Highly recommend the GCI camp tables. They're aluminum, lightweight, fold down, and the larger one is a good sitting height for a meal. Here's a video I did that includes them:
