- Have you considered a PET heating pad for keeping warm in the winter?? Compared to 170+ watts for a standard heating pad, the XL pet heating pad from K&H Pet Products only draws 22 watts!! I'd say that is a win for keeping warm in car, house, boat, or submarine during the colder months.

I have a 12 V heated car blanket. You can put it in a sleeping bag to warm it up while you drive or use a small power bank with a 12 V plug. You can even get an AC to DC adapter to use it in the house.

Where would you get that type of v12 plug power bank? Or what is it called? Lol I just bought one of those heating blankets but I’m worried it’s gonna kill my car battery =|
I used a regular heating pad for my elderly cat, she loved it. It made her so comfortable.
Animal heating pads are for pampered pets. I'm getting one! THANKS for a GREAT REVIEW!! 🐶
I like the 12 volt car blanket for my van so I do not have to run my inverter, which wastes energy in the conversion process. If that keeps you warm and works for you, then that's good. Safe travels.
Great Idea!
Aren't you the Missy who thought she lost her cat?
Clever!
You'll be in competition with The Lila Girl for the pad! 😼 I use my Buddy Heater to get the initial chill out of the tent, then rely on my sleep system, which has worked well. However, I have been known to also use an electric mattress pad and of course a battery bank to power it 😉
Wow! An electric mattress pad?? You are camping in luxury!
Great application for a low-wattage pad. Thinking about trying this out this winter in my truck. One for me and one for the dog. Have you used it again since, maybe in colder weather.
It works great and is almost too warm sometimes.
