- You've probably seen the Arctic Air on TV or while shopping and wondered, would that work for camping? OK, maybe not camping, but you've probably wondered if it works.
I put the Arctic Air Pure Chill Deluxe to the test while car camping.
How do you stay cool while camping? Have you used an Arctic Air product?

You're probably better off putting an ice pack behind a usb fan.
I watched this on TV where I can't comment, but I've often thought about buying one of these for at home because I love the cool, cool air blasting DIRECTLY on me. Now, after seeing this (on the TV) and again here -- I'm not going to bother. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
I bought the artic air a month ago to try it out in my Jeep. It does feel a bit cooler than a fan but it puts out so much moisture in a small space. We woke up soaking and there was condensation in the Jeep. I tested it in west Texas where it's dry and was high 90 during the day. I returned it and headed for the mountains for cooler temps.
Great mention of the condensation! This is something to definitely be mindful of while car camping!
okay so vehicles get hotter then houses or even tents. Did she ever freeze the filter
THOSE MINIATURE SWAMP COOLERS ARE ONLY AFFECTIVE IF YOU PUT ALL ICE IN IT & JUST A TABLE SPOON OF WATER. AS THE ICE MELTS THE COLD AIR WILL COOL OFF A SMALL AREA UNTIL THE ICE IS ALL WATER AGAIN. :)
Rachel ❤️
It cools your FACE but not your SPACE! I think I gave you my two cents some time ago. I still take it with me for hot weather camping, until something better for me comes along.... I appreciate your review and opinion on this product.
If only I had thought of that! You're exactly right about the face.
I've got both original artic air and pure chill 2.0 and I really like them. put it beside me and it keeps me cool. my room gets hot in the suumer and having artic air has made a difference helping the ac some. we rent a moble home and can't have window ac. artic air isn't designed to cool an entire room but is designed to keep ur space cool. maybe the artic air tower would cool a room haven't tried it yet.
Iv seen lots of stuff where they decided off was a speed. I guess "zero" counts 🤪
Good to see you and I hope you are doing well.
Doing good, thanks Bob!
