Are new houses in Italy (and Europe) still have a "separate" bidet? Are built-in (and add-on) bidet to toilet seats popular in Italy (and Europe)? I just find it more practical to only have one seat than 2 in the toilet.

Ok, i searched the comments first: Is this a flush first scenario? Seemed like alot of force in the water spraying up stuff that should not be bothered. And i didnt think spraying backwards was getting to the area good enough (spray wand style) so I sprayed from the front and sprayed the whole wall. I should have googled first but i got brave. These things seem so weird and cumbersome, and like a waste of space. Making penguin steps with your pants shackling your legs over to that thing, possibly having dingle berries and pee drop into them, figuring out how to do yoga on that seemingly not for sitting intended blocky and cold bowl, and the whole weird as(s) fuck sensation....

It maybe usefull earlier , but know i don't really think its that usefull of a bathroom accessory . Its just too much of a work while toilet paper is doing the same thing

I use the hand held shower attachment after I poop. I call it hydraulic hygiene. Haven’t used toilet paper in years. If you’re prone to haemorrhoids this is the way to go.

Still don't get how you clean yourself properly. Toilet paper goes where water won't. Unless you don't have a firm stool, I don't know what 'game changer' you think this is.

So why don't you use tp first? That only makes sense. Also, I have never understood how bidets can be good, especially for women because they spray the water from the back to the front. We're taught to wipe front to back so why would we want water running from back to front, pushing things forward? Also, it seems like it would be like sitting on the toilet with the seat up. Most people try to avoid that. It's not pleasant.

A friend sent me a bidet attachment for my (American) toilet. I haven't installed it yet, but I do foresee 1 small problem. I live in Upstate NY. The city water supply gets very VERY cold during the winter months. 😂 There is no warm up water option. 😢

After using the bidet, how do you keep from dripping water down your legs and all over the bidet seat area and floor? Do you dry off while still sitting down? Seems that would be hard to keep the clean wipe off towel from getting in the unclean bidet while wiping. Sincerely, Inquiring mind

Just shower more often. I like 2 to 3 quick shower a day unless I've been in the grime and dirt or doing extreme cardio.
