      @Joe Barone lol. It’s freezing here in winter although Canada is a beautiful country. My parents came for a better life which they worked hard for. Huge Italian community here, so even today my mom can go shopping and not have to speak any English. But a part of me wishes I could move to Calabria.

    Welcome to Toronto aka the "6"; Eataly on Bloor Street, small Italian groceries like Messina on Scarlett Road, bigger Italian groceries like Lady York Foods on Dufferin, St Phillips Bakery Nobelton and Woodbridge, lunch at Speducci Mercatto off Keele Street, high end restos like Sotto Sotto and Buca, and don't forget Instituto Di Cultura Italiano - Toronto; you're going to enjoy it.     I visited Italy with my husband in 2017. We stayed almost a month. I miss it so dang much 😭 a second trip to Italy was supposed to be my push present after having my daughter but Covid happened 😢 so I’m hoping to go in a year or two 🤞🙊

    Enjoy the new city! We visited Toronto a few years ago and really loved it. (Except for the traffic!) If you haven't already, check out the St. Lawrence Market. An amazing place with every kind of food imaginable.

      Oooo! I CANNOT wait to go to Montreal! And honestly my French is rusty, it could use the practice! I swear that learning Italian took over the ability to speak French...but I can still read and hear it and understand! It's just when I open my mouth to respond... Italian comes out :)
