Water for Climate Healing- The New Water Paradigm and Public Policy with Martin Kováč
Learn how public policy and community action can restore the water cycle and our climate.
Former Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, Martin Kováč is a co-author of "Water for Climate Recovery - A New Water Paradigm." Watch this webinar replay for a deep dive into the public and institutional aspects of small water cycle restoration.
For the success of our actions in decentralized small water cycle restoration, it is welcome and beneficial if local, regional and national governments, as well as international institutions, create supportive frameworks for our adaptation efforts and management measures in the country and on the ground. Together, as an international community of experts focused on soil regeneration and small-scale water cycle restoration, we can bring a decisive impetus to public policy innovation at the global level and linking traditional sectoral policies, which will deliver guaranteed results in countries and their regions.

    I've been studying Gerald Pollack's work with EZ water for many years, and recently stumbled upon the aromatic side chain molecules, tryptophan, tyrosine, phenylalanine and histidine. That are capable of absorbing and radiating UV light And was wondering if Gerald has done any synergistic experiments with the aromatic side chain molecules, and EZ water?. I think RNA and DNA are also capable of absorbing and radiating UV light I'm getting ready to experiment on myself with EZ water and the aromatic side chain molecules ...... "Quantum fiber optics in the brain enhance processing, may protect against degenerative diseases" by Meredith Fore , Howard University "Large quantum optical networks of tryptophan in protein architectures - the kinds found in mammalian brains, but also in all eukaryotes and even in some bacteria - influence their collective response to an ultraviolet light stimulus. These lattices of tryptophan, an amino acid that strongly absorbs and emits in the ultraviolet, are scaffolded within much larger protein assemblies that self-organize in neurons, centrioles, cilia, and flagella" "The existence of such a cooperative and ultrafast optical response in cytoskeletal filaments, neuron fibers, and other cellular organelles reveals their ability to process electromagnetic energy and information in unanticipated ways." "I believe that our work is a quantum leap for quantum biology, taking us beyond photosynthesis and into other realms of exploration: investigating implications for quantum information processing, and discovering new therapeutic approaches for complex diseases," said Philip Kurian, Ph.D., principal investigator and founding director of the Quantum Biology Laboratory at Howard University in Washington, DC. Single-photon superradiance "The star of the study is tryptophan: a molecule that is most associated with turkey dinners but is also found in many biological contexts. As an amino acid, it's a fundamental building block for proteins and larger structures made from those proteins, such as cilia, flagella, and centrioles" "A lone molecule of tryptophan displays a fairly standard quantum property: it can absorb a particle of light (called a photon) at a certain frequency and emit another photon at a different frequency. This process is called fluorescence and is very often used in studies to investigate protein responses" "But the study found that a strange thing happens when many, many tryptophan molecules are arranged in a symmetrical network, like they are in larger structures like centrioles-they fluoresce stronger and faster than they would if they were fluorescing independently. The collective behavior is called "superradiance," and it only happens with single photons because of quantum mechanics" Neurons "These large tryptophan networks exist in neurons, the cells that make up the mammalian nervous system. The presence of quantum superradiance in the fiber-like bundles of neurons has two big potential implications: protection against degenerative diseases, and the transmission of quantum signals in the brain." "Degenerative brain diseases like Alzheimer's have been associated with high degrees of oxidative stress-when the body carries a large number of free radicals, which can emit damaging, high-energy UV light particles" "Tryptophan can absorb this ultraviolet light and re-emit it at a lower, safer energy. And, as this study found, very large tryptophan networks can do this even more efficiently and robustly because of their powerful quantum effects." "This photoprotection may prove crucial in ameliorating or halting the progression of degenerative illness," said Kurian. "We hope this will inspire a range of new experiments to understand how quantum-enhanced photoprotection plays a role in complex pathologies that thrive on highly oxidative conditions."

It's easy to cherry pick elements that will build up one's point of view while also picking elements that break down the opposing point of view. As @abbybrothers9888's comment below suggests, curiosity and adaptability are key.

    A couple things... One being, its essence referenced in the point relayed as to how We have destroyed the wetlands of California. I grew up in the town that sits right next to one of the remaining intact estuaries in SoCal, and I can say, out of all the places I have been, throughout the West, over some 30 years, that that tiny spot consistently gave me the most, and deepest, "spiritual"/"cosmic"/"deep time" connections I have ever experienced. One path in the estuary always struck me as having been walked on by People long, long ago. The beach just over the dunes is far enough removed from the residences and streets of the town, that sitting there, alone, at night, could seemingly transport you to a previous time. That We have destroyed these places is to our folly. I can also say that I have always been fascinated with how water flows and pools on the Earth. I had always found myself making little channels and wet spots wherever I lived, just to see what would happen. Much to my delight, I learned, through permaculture! (I had the correct teachers!), that this is something you are supposed to do on a piece of land, for at least a year. Pay attention to what is going on with everything, for a long time. All the time. Lastly... these principles that you, and I suppose the others you have learned from, espouse, in regards to allowing the People of a place to show you what is going on in their lands, and what they need, is the very same principles that is espoused by the communist/socialist/anarchist movements, those that wish to break Humanity out of its chains. It makes sense, then, that both these concepts and practices, in agriculture, and in politics, are what is needed to re-balance our connection to Nature. To truly decolonize our grip on it, as well as on each other.

    I think I may be one of the two people that Pollack mentioned toward the end of this interview. I think I explained to him about the fact that meteorology employs synoptics (a combination ot statistics and cartography) and deliberately shuns physics and chemistry. And I explained this to Pollack ten years ago. I am the one that figured out that evaporation is never genuinely gaseous. At the time he had never thought much about it at all. I also explained how static electricity was (most likely) involved with getting evaporate to gradually travel up in the atmosphere. Additionally I explained to Pollack the physics of storms, a subject of which he is still almost completely confused.

  • @SolvingTornadoes
    @SolvingTornadoes Před 17 dny

    It is true that academia is irretrievably confused. But Pollack doesn't have any answers. He just wants money. More experiments won't solve anything with respect to the paradigmatic confusion that surrounds water. Fundamental mistakes were made by Linus Pauling in the 1950s. The model that emerged and that remains dominant within academia conceals Pauling's error. We already have an abundance of empirical observational data that prove this current model is wrong. Academia refuses to reconsider Pauling. Pauling (and Pollack) missed the fact that each hydrogen bond that forms between H2O molecules resolves 25% of the polarity in each of the H2O molecules that participate in the bond. Thus H2O polarity is variable and the mechanism of this variation is hydrogen bonds. The so called "anomalies of H2O" are each resolved in the context of this breakthrough understanding: czcams.com/video/-cLI_nlEbJ4/video.html James McGinn / Expert on Anomalies of H2O / President of Solving Tornadoes

    If a driver who doesn't know how to drive, rams a BMW into a wall, who're you going to blame. I have NOT read the manual, but I HAVE actually listened to many of Geoff Lawton's videos. He REPEATEDLY emphasizes the need to keep changing the plan as the site develops. He says to keep making changes as you get experience working on the land. Also swales are put in places where the water table needs to me mended, where there is a SCARCITY of water. Once the land is replenished, they can be left to fill up if their need is no longer required.

  • @MistiClectiCisM
    @MistiClectiCisM Před měsícem

    This was very stimulating. However it also felt it a bit unfair. As many of the critiques of permaculture practices were in fact justified by invoking permaculture design principles. I think rather than proving holes in permaculture you have proved how important it is to counter all the Principles against each other! Which is in itself an excellent point. With this said I completely share with you that permaculture is abused by those without sufficient practice both in ecosystem reading and being on the land in general. I find arrogance in the “I´ll teach you how to do miracles through my expensive course even though I provide myself with 2% of my own food” And that swale and hugelkultur -and also herb spirals- are infuriatingly omnipresent for those at early stages of understanding. I also agree we should be using the remaining fossil fuels to implement earthworks that might help counter the overall mess we´ve made and can understand your call for rapid action… which would not be easily compatible with the symbiotic relationship you described. Got me thinking which is welcome.

    I am very excited to have found your channel. I think I have fallen in love with water quite a while ago. Working with water in my craft is essential. Knowing more about it became more and more important for me. Where I live there is not a very urgent danger of shortage of water but with the seemingly chancing rain and typhoon patterns combined with the results of a mono-kind tree planting in the mountains surrounding us practice in the past, we sense a chance in water the amount of water supply during the season s. It will become very important to learn more about the nature of water to take some sort of action to make it an even better place to live.
