I don't think he ever figured out the combo system. If you're interested, you apply an ailment to an enemy then detonate it to create a burst. for the interceptor it's the poison grenade followed by the melee.

My thoughts of Keener and other agents who were left to die in the dz when jtf were given orders to pull out.. We would have done the same thing as Keener did, work with the LMB and get other agents to join us. I also think maybe there is a plan for the jtf to pull out and have the first wave die out, so that no one knows nor questions what happened there (maybe sabotage). I think Keener found out long ago about Cal's Division and Nat's Black Tusk... We have to find our own path, which is creating our own faction against Cal, Nat, and others. Having the Eclipse Virus could come in handy to take down hunters and whatever plans Cal and Nat are working on.

It would be awesome if they created factions. You can be Red or Orange and it effects your skills and specializations

I LOVE the new collaboration idea, two of my favorite creators in one place!! The Decent comm issue could easily be solved by just giving you a comm every time you beat the Nemesis until you are current, then you play for fun and wait for next week's comm.

Had to watch cause of NGN .. his lore videos are great .. all I am saying is in two weeks we better get a HUGE dlc drop ... new missions, map area and dz ... but I have a feeling they won't add anything. so I will stay on div 1 and wait for div 3 in a few years. .. sounds mean but 6 years is plenty of time .. destiny has no problem dropping content .

The collab we definitely needed! Loved the video! This might be a somewhat hot take especially with you being PvP focused Rogue but I think conflict needs more balancing. I’m all for the DZ being no holds barred and anything goes. It’s super chaotic and fun. However, all conflict is to me on Xbox is pure cheese. Clear cheaters everywhere, nothing but skill builds and capacitors, and artillery turret spam. I’m of the mindset that conflict should be either rebalanced to pure gunplay or have two playlists conflict with skills and conflict with no skills. I’m a run and gun PvP player. My builds focus around DPS/Armor Regen and it’s near impossible to play the game how I want. Hence my desire for SOME form of rebalance. With all that said, I tried your Umbra build with the Elmo and it’s the most fun I’ve had in conflict using a build more in my wheelhouse. Definitely a 10/10 build in my opinion.

As far as the both sides of the story part You can't go that route when mentioning Joker. It depends on which one, and then you have villains like Palpatine. Who is just born evil. But as far as the overall development team decision making, we can't just go with "Well we aren't in their development team so they must've had a reason why they did it"... we can't keep doing that without holding the devs accountable at times. The game needs an overall rehabilitation as far as the engine... it's outdated and isn't fully working how it's intended because we should've never been off the game for 2 almost 3 days because of an apparel event bug. Man these devs gotta fix this damn game

Love the channel, video, and discussion. My main dislike this year was with the Manhunts, while I like the new approach of rescuing people and being guided through the missions in a more narrative fashion, I felt the structure of the missions was lacking in the sense that it didn't feel like you were actually rescuing people. As they are now, you simply play through them like any other mission, kill the boss, and voila, you've rescued someone. I think it would've been better and much more engaging if they structured it in a way that combined aspects of other missions throughout the game (specifically, capturing a control points, the finale to Countdown, and the Bank Headquarters mission where you rescue the President). The idea being, you fight your way through the enemy defenses to where the hostage is being held, free them from captivity, escort them to an extraction zone, fire off a flare, then defend against enemy reinforcements while you wait for the helicopter to arrive. Now I'm not a programmer, so I don't know the actual complications of making a mission structure like this happen, but at the same time, this could all be done using resources and mechanics that are already in the game.

Re: Decent. I defeated the nemesis last night and the game gave me 17! comms instead is the usual 1. I did start playing decent when they had the bug where you didn't get any comms after defeating the nemesis so maybe this was a make good. I was at like 10 or so and just got boosted to 28 out of the 52.

Side note, idk if this is a bug or what, but for the descent project this week I received like 20 descent comms instead of the usual 2-3. So uh, if you want those comms get on it.

Just smashed the like button as I ate a salad for lunch after having a cruddy Descent session just now (although I did beat the Nemesis this morning when I woke up).

That was brilliant, I was getting some stuff done in game while listening to this. It passed so quickly. Definitely worth doing more of this format guys 100%. 🤙

My two cents: The year started off STRONG, with my favorite end-game content to date, which is the incursion. The attack on the White House was insanely cool, the Ouroboros and St. Elmo’s engine are my favorite exotics in the game, and I enjoyed the reconstruction of the castle settlement. In terms of story and gameplay, though, that’s pretty much it. I don’t have time to list the negatives, but the lack of significant endgame content in Season 3, the story’s shift to a much less believable and immersive tone, and the almost pointless existence of Project Resolve, are a bit frustrating to me Edit: one more thing, but I personally believe they need to DRASTICALLY decrease the grind to level 25 expertise. Like, seriously. I am NOT about spending HUNDREDS of hours grinding countdown or go through WoNY hundreds of times to max out a couple of weapons at best in a span of 10 hours. Absolutely ridiculous.
