Adding elbow pads would be game breaking. Ninja bike backpack could then proc two green gearsets and I'll love every minute of it
This would be awesome actually. There are a ton of gear sets that would benefit from combining.
@@Shademastermcc Imagine getting the 4pc bonus of both Striker and Negotiator's. Everything will just melt in seconds.
Might be a nightmare to balance though.
I feel like it’s not going to be related to any gear or brand set. Maybe it’s just going to be extra mod slots and nothing more.
Lovebird what that. Yeah it giant puddle of goo right floor. Four people running dps. Trigger the drone. The go buck wild.
@@derrickf8053 There's some speculation that it's going to be the armbands.
Melee "finisher" weapons like Hunter crash axes.
I’ve been wanting that for a long time now. The excuse is that they can’t come up with a good enough combat system for the division. And developing one for D2 would be tricky. But the way I see it, just give us a finisher animation and the melee combat itself just be the same as guns but with slight range/lunge and higher damage numbers. Incorporate them as side arms. That’s it.
The fashion possibilities with melee weapons are endless.
Yeah bringing knives and axes to a gun fight is a very brilliant idea.🥴🙄
@@ADISTOD3MUS
If you’re already up close and personal and you run out of clip it could be more than viable. Especially if the target is already about to go down. You could also use a shield.
5:06 "it wouldn't be a shock to me..." Literally get shocked on screen ⚡
My timing is immaculate 😄
To add onto this!! in Heartland the patch isnt attached directly to the sleeve, it's attached to something else that is then attached to the sleeve. The thing that the patch is attached to glows orange like the watch/ISAC Brick. I bet I BET we are getting that exact same thing in Division 2. AND there's even UI that connects the ISAC brick and patch.
I think they'll keep the LINC's a Heartland thing for now, it probably ties into the story there. But never say never! Could be interesting
I feel like after todays news it makes more sense that it is infact the Heartland thing considering Heartland is no more. @RogueGold
If it's not a fanny pack, I don't want to hear it!
I'm hoping *for* you 🤞😄
The ANNA tactical fanny pack 😂
Ok boomer
@Setanta9089 hey, stop checking out my fanny!
@Setanta9089 hey you don't know what your missing .. also maybe learn the generations.. cause you cant even get that right.. but want to insult someone.. thats the line you all use and it's funny cause your off by a few . just shows the lack of intelligence on your part .. at least get it right!!!
IMO i would hope that all the patches we already unlocked via the achivements, would all get a fixed perk. So you have more motivation to go after all of them, or at least just the good ones
It’d be great if achieved patches had unique attributes/stats. I would make them more valuable.
Unrelated, but I still don't get why we can't get more stash space and I'm a programmer.
Servers probably?
Agree, however… I don’t think it’s as easy to program something like 150 now equals 300, for example. Even if that was possible, what would happen to the current gear that is in the stache or your pack? There’s probably a huge risk of all items being deleted. I also don’t think it’s possible to simply “export” that data, do the rework, and then import the data. The intricacy must be too complex for the devs to attempt this change. I kind of recall Yanick making some comment about this several months ago saying that this just isn’t possible. Hopefully things will be different when Div 3 comes out.
@@dh1380servers only relate to player's ip, it (stash space) does not have anything to do with servers.. the most logical answer to this is they want you to explore and to make use of these items.. i mean rather than just grab everything and care less about what you grabbed. just my thought process
I don’t really see a reason why you would need it do you really need that many items also you could make other characters
If I recall correctly its related to console limitation. Nothing to do with PCs
I’m hoping that this June we will get a lot more revealed for the franchise
I think we'll get word before Ubisoft Forward. But that's simply my guess
Patch’s doing stuff would be cool, maybe some watch changes since there was a focus on the watch at the end. I don’t really want a new gear piece though so maybe the patch allows for like 1 modifier or something. A whole new gear piece would make stuff more complicated when the watch/patch is an easy add on.
The chest talent ‘berserk’ is coming back and ‘clutch’ is being reworked.
Maybe skill vanity mods. Would be cool to have different designs on the shields. Or maybe even have clan insignias on the shields.
I would like custom masks. If you remember the game army of two, you could design your own mask and import it into the game and wear it. Buy a blank mask with a specific perk and design away or blank masks with tinkering ability to hot swap the perk depending on content playing. Also why can’t the textile vendor sell old apparel event outfits for sale on a rotation base.
I don't think that will happen. It would completely undercut the specialness and work required to get hunter masks. And more importantly to Ubisoft, it would undercut them selling new masks in the store (unless you had to buy every aspect of a custom mask)
@@djbeema how, you still have to earn those masks in game. they aren't time free, you have to invest to get them. Most players i know don't were masks on the characters, they like to hve them on display in BOO though. I personally won't buy apparel items, too me it is a waste of money. But i would spend more time in game grinding if weekly a new outfit become available especially if it was an outfit i missed out on. the rare ones could be like a drop rate and not come around that often.
First off the story gets interesting and now this?? Good or bad, the Devs are putting in some serious work and All I appreciate it!!
Would be cool to have an extra ‘mod slot’. If a ‘patch’ gave you an extra weapon, gear or skill mod. But not just to equip one you have, but to earn, loot or craft. And optimise. And it could be something currently not available as a mod. Like mag size, stability or movement speed.
Totally- I think Yannick's comments of them offering unique/different bonuses hints at being able to spec into those "rarer" stats
@@RogueGold Still searching for the 13% PTE mods. I’m a day one player, watch #8414 and I only have one. That sux but it’s not a game changer. I always wanted a Hunter Axe. Single hit, wipe out anything (within reason). Like the Sweat Dreams but as a side arm.
Perhaps the new patches will add some kind of effect? Like a mod of some kind. 🤷♂️
That would be my guess, if that's what we get!
Well, adding stats to patches is pretty much the path of least resistance- they wouldn’t have to create a slew of new models to visually incorporate into our player characters, you just are effectively taking something already there and adding some modifiers to them. Personally, I’m fine with this (the other way is just an invitation for a whole slew of game breaking bugs to be introduced.)
I’m more curious as to just what we are gonna get. Also, will existing (already earned) patches be retrofitted with stats or abilities? If they are doing that it sorta explains why they are taking time with this - there are hundreds of patches in the game.
I hope that the ‚new gear item‘ (be it patches or otherwise) introduces a whole range of different ideas and use case scenarios. F.e. Having patches that do 3/5/8/10/12% weapon damage (scaling from white to gold, exotic patches would be hilarious) is an obvious simple starting point. But maybe you want 4/5/6/7/8% DTTOC…or how about 8% weapon damage and 5% DTTOC? 8% CHC with 10% CHD? That’s all very sensible stuff, but what if they also toss in interesting and unique ability modifiers? F.e. What about a patch that gives you unlimited mini gun ammo?
The thing is, because this item isn’t tethered to the allocation conventions of either armor or weapons, it has the potential for some pretty wild creative choices that in turn can produce some cool and more personalized builds - f.e. A patch that gives you 30% armor on kill would REALLY elevate a lot of striker builds, but it wouldn’t be as great for HF builds. The potential is there…if the devs are somehow able to avoid snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I really hope it will count as a gear piece because as a PvE player the 6 slot max feels too restrictive to make unique builds, especially since gear sets take 3 or 4 slots just to really use them
That's mostly the point of the system, though. You can't have infinite slots because certain sets and items require you to make choices on how many to run in order to unlock the more powerful bonuses
6 custom gear pieces is kind of a lot actually... It's pretty nice. There has to be some limitations otherwise everyone would just stick everything on at once and it would make the build system utterly pointless
@@RogueGold I understand, I guess I mainly mean for gear sets & it doesn’t help we have to forego our backpack talent & exotic slot with the ninja bike just to add in something a gear set may be missing to feel more optimal.
I’m definitely looking forward to this update & please keep the content coming😁….especially for heartlands 👀
At first i was thinking weapon trinkits but now i don't know but if it's not going to be patches i hope they eather expand inventory and Stach or make it store in a seperet space in inventory and stash
I think it's going to be some of the same Gear/ Brand sets with new and different bonuses and cores. That sounds like a shuffle to me.
There was also patches in the commendations 😮that you couldn’t select I had a whole long list of notification in there and that when I saw them. 😂
I can see Patches adding an Additional Talent. Nothing too crazy like Gear Talents (jeez, could you imagine having a built-in Unbreakable Talent without having to Farm for a Gear Piece?,) but something relatively useful in Certain Scenarios.
Me personally, i wouldn't mind seeing the 'Stop, drop 'n Roll' Talent return (i think that's what it was called.) It was pretty useful if you got Proc'd by a Fire DOT that could Kill you.
Bringing back some of those OG talents and bonuses would certainly be cool to see!
I agree, I think patches will have “Perks” tied to them
I hope it works similarly to kanais cube in diablo 3. It would basically give us one extra talent to have active
That would be cool!
I think itd be cool to have a helmet slot where we can have 5.11 tac helmets or other brands and maybe be able to add goggles for better stats such as optimal range ChC and ChD, headshot damage
I would like to get melee weapons, for example hunter axe. Regarding the patches crafting I think it will be just to get patches from old seasons.
It's probably going to be a new brand type, with only 1 bonus or a talent on it. I doubt they're going to add a new gear slot (7th piece of gear.)
Did any one datamine the patch info from the PTS version? That may help…
Always wondered, what shirt are you using on your character? Tried to look for it everywhere in the store but couldn’t find it.
The one he’s wearing in this video? Looks to be the Kelso shirtless uniform
@IzWolfPack In this video it's the Kelso uniform, currently available for a limited time in the "Bundles" section of the store
Thanks 🙏
add Danny Weaver+ add caches now = you spend all your textiles. Change Danny to include patches once ppl have depleted their stash of textiles = new purpose to grind levels.
What lmg are you using in the video?
The Carnage 👍
@@RogueGold thanks
I would love to either see classified gear like in division 1 and really ramp up one stat. I would also really like to see bow and arrows. I feel like bow and arrows would fit into the lore if society for the most part has fallen down at some point we're going to run out of ammo
Join the scavenger faction 😂
Always cracks me up when those guys come after me with a bow, like "what are you thinking there dude .. do you see how well armed I am?!"
You think two upcoming seasons before DLC could be about agent Caleb Dunne And Heather Ward?
We find out who was main head behind hunter program and whole recruiting stuff, who knows what these two other agents did
It's possible! Though we do know about Ward's status. I'd recommend reading the "Crossroads" novel trilogy if you want more info 👀
Does this game still update regularly? Back then when I played it's once every week with update size few GB.
The current cadence is that they do 3 major updates per content year, with smaller bug fixing patches in-between.
I forgot about patches on there. It was removed quickly to
Yup
I want an exotic mask, "mimic mask" and it will copy the talent from any chest or backpack or gun
😮 also has tri-core attributes.
Im greedy. Let me dream
Aim high! Love it!
Definitely wanna know about that build. Looks like it smacks !
If you mean the one in the PVE clips, here you go! 👉 czcams.com/video/2rFSZajL3Sw/video.htmlsi=kq0swu75dLxKclao
Patches could just be a random custom cosmetic creator maybe, not sure on that but it feels like the only logical and easiest thing for them to do is make them add extra attributes. Alternative suggestion for item type would maybe be something like a belt as it would easily slot in as much as a patch would.
Solid ideas!
It's very unlikely it would be a seventh gear type as that would dramatically change the layout of the screens. I'm sure they'll change the patch system, but I can't see that being named as an item type.
Hopefully it’s consumables
Can they make no more gear stacks, type of gear where i can equip every weapon and just have some diversity?
Am I crazy or did Danny Weaver sell caches that *always* gave god rolled items when he was first added, but now they are just normal
To my knowledge the god rolled items were unintended, so they corrected it shortly after his release
It’s definitely…Armored vibrating underwear, that deflects bullets. Along with other unintended consequences.
New item type: melee weapons... I mean no need to waste code from heartland. If true they made the decision to axe Heartland a while a go. Next hope sliding...I miss it.
As always, super vid!
Thank you my friend! 👊
I thought it would be the new melee that heartland is using
I haven't thought about this as much as I've thought of what they could do for the new DLC? You think they'd increase gear score to 50? What the heck would happen to all our 40 items specially the ones we've invested so many exotic components into? I'm up for the gear score increase just not sure of watching exotic components go to waste. Maybe break the pieces down and get half back? Sure would be interesting.
Nah strictly story dlc related. No level increase as that would make the player base rage. That's why expertise is in place.
@TechDoneRight1 I have little to no expectation that there's going to be a level, gear, or any similar kind of increase. Not only have people now invested *huge* amounts of time and resources into specific gear pieces for Expertise, but it just seems too late into the game's life to do that now- especially after leaving things for 4+ years.
Beyond that, I think that's too far outside the scope of what they want to/can reasonably accomplish. The game has clearly has its issues since Season 9, and I expect the focus of the DLC to solely be delivering a solid and (hopefully) polished open world/story experience
Wish they added new hair styles, colors, tattoos and piercings into the game even as part of the season pass.
i think it’s would be cool for patches to act like 1/4 of a watch where you get x% of an attribute
Another great video from RG. Patches? I think you've hit the nail on the head here but would the significance be for patches would they just be cosmetic or would wearing a patch say for example give you a 15% XP boost for 10s or Gun For Hire give you 5% weapon damage for 10s. I can only guess at this point.
If they're implying that Patches are the "new item type," then yes it's presumed they'd begin to offer gameplay bonuses! Could be exciting!
@@RogueGold indeed.
More directives at one time would be sweet for more xp
how about the gear quality of the skills? all items have the worn quality level and i have yet to read about higher quality stuff. i.e. an exotic turret or hive.
That would be interesting if they expanded that!
I bet it's going to be season related like the Artifacts in Destiny 2.
Could be!
It’s probably classified sets tbh I doubt it’ll be a new slot
I'd hate to think they're going to bring back the "shields" from the transition from TD1 to TD2 and rename them as "patches" as something to chase.
Mm, his wording makes it sound more practical than the Shields, which were essentially a promotional tool. We'll see!
Is the look in the thumbnail any real gear and/or apparel in game?
You might be able to find similar items, but the thumbnail look is the Bardon Schaeffer NPC
Wish we had melee weapons... smashing with the hunter axe lol
Been thinking this forever. They'd fit aesthetically, gameplay-wise and lore-wise.
@CDRGH0ST My guess is they'll keep that to Heartland for now to give it some individuality
Yes I want to be a hunter of hunters.
What do you think of the memento backpack?
I love it! One of the strongest options in a solo build IMO
Unrelated to this, i wish the recruiter outfit was back lol
They said a while ago that it'll probably rotate back in at some point, stay tuned!
I would like it to be a melee weapon slot
Just decided to restart this game and started a hardcore agent run wish me luck yall!
Welcome back, and good luck! 🙌
I hope like shoulder pads with gear mods
They need make it where you can craw crutch down sneak up Thraw knifes and kill that enemies be able to sneak up and choke the enemies and make it easy to see the enemies
Classified gear sets
BAD Rogue!! shooting the changa on the balls (3:40) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
mf ain't having babies no more lmfao
I am guessing it will be a cosmetic item that won’t affect combat. Just my guess.
Seems unlikely to me, given Yannick states that we'll be chasing "new gear" that supposedly grants gameplay bonuses. But we'll see!
Whatever happened to specialization rework?
Cutting room floor.
Died when Trick left the team.
@sorooshusa Previous pitched iteration is cancelled, but further changes might still come in some form 👉 czcams.com/video/oBaW38xpQzk/video.htmlsi=yBnXEM0HQN2S0gmf
If they add an item type they need to INCREASE INVENTORY CAPACITY!!!
I want to equip multiple exotics like Div 1
They'd have to do some major rebalancing of the Exotics in Division 2 if they wanted to implement that feature without causing some big balancing issues
Mod slot for footwear?
If it ain't a bayonet-style weapon mod: instant uninstall 🙃
Maybe make a vid about the gotdam ammo bug. this is how it works. Ak-M or any weapons, but not LMGs. change mag. and 1 in the champer. swap weapon and swap back, you have now lost 1 round from you total ammo. press R to get this 1 round into the champer. and swap weapon again. do this and you run out of ammo. if its a shotgun with a mag and % boost to mag size. you lose This amount of shotgun ammo you have in % when you swap. Anyway good vids man.
It's already been reported and they're aware of the issue, so I don't see making a video on it being overly necessary. But hopefully it gets sorted out for TU21 👍
Bows or crossbows, or a melee weapon.
If we ever get compound bows in The Division I'll be set for life 😄 Melee weapons I expect them to keep exclusive to Heartland for now, but we'll see!
Patches is kinda eh would love to have helmets or more diverse settlement upgrading
How about a mobile device like a cellphone that works like shd watch and has 4 stats.
@@sorooshusa that would be pretty cool ngl
Maybe Exotic granades?
That could be interesting!
whatever it is i like it already
Odds that the gear level will be increased?
Few to none I'd say because the jump from 30 to 40 is already insanely impactful for gameplay in terms of damage dealt and damage taken
@badassassingaming Very low IMO. Expertise is inherently a system designed for you to grind and invest in specific gear items, and invalidating that with a level increase (or doing so without offering a way to "raise up" that gear) would be disastrous
my favorite division yutuber
🫶🫶
It's a usable knife because not many people use mele attacks. (Just joking but that would be cool)
Sup Rogue and gang
✌️✌️
Yall wrong it Classified Set
I hope not 😬
They should allow us to unlock all items in the specialization trees. I hate having multiple builds, all different, and needing to swap items in the tree based on the class I’m currently using. We should be able to unlock all the items. That and more inventory slots. My storage has been maxed at 300 for a long time now.
Elbow pads or Helmets
How can patches be a "new" item type if they already exist.
If they revamp them to have stats or other bonuses now, it could be a renewed form. This is all just a theory- it might not be what they're really doing!
@@RogueGold I know it's just a theory but even revamping them wouldn't be considered a new type it's still not new it's just revamped. That's why I am confused on that theory in general.
Most likely a skill
Who knows, perhaps we'll get to see the classified gear sets from TD1 make a comeback! You know what that means!
D3F(ish)NC!
Same here I'm waiting for return of d3fnc to the division 2
And the support station with it is gear seat
Classified gear sets are something I’ve been wanting for a while, but I don’t think they are going to return
@alexandrefillot9600 If they were to ever bring back Classifieds, I would sincerely hope they do so in a manner that doesn't kill off build diversity like they did in Div 1
@@RogueGold Simple, make the DPS based ones very slightly less effective than the Striker builds, because that seems to already be killing a big amount of diversity within the build variety.
Edit : at least that's how it feels given how the DPS people brag about being able to throw a grenade, kill 27 people, the boss and the hostage, all of that before the grenade explodes.
@@RogueGold this is true, I remember a lot of people running six piece striker.
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Yessir
Okay, but when are they going to fix the frame rate issue on pc that started in tu18.2 and still haven't been resolved
Why isn't this game crossplay yet?
With the amount of work needed to implement that, and the sequel in development- we're very unlikely to get crossplay in TD2
Would love "classifed' watches that further specialize our builds
My guy in the last season they said they were adding more inventory space and that never happened?
I don't recall them making any pledge like that. Do you have a source?
I might be a new arm patch that stops you from getting disconnected from the servers. That would be fantastic
Well I'm just hoping they don't cancel the new item type just like they canceled the rework of the Specialization system
Socks
😂
if it's a patch... it will be as ridiculous as possible...well, like I have a medic's build and because I have a patch with a red cross, my build will heal more... delusion... it was necessary to make a new piece of equipment, a helmet / headdress...more appropriate
I'm not sure having a helmet increasing my magical healing over a patch is much more realistic- but I take your point lol
@@RogueGold just like knee pads or kabura... But that's okay... but a piece of cloth is not really an idea... but it's better than nothing...
Probably was going to come with the dlc... which will probably still come with the dlc
I can’t get any pvp matches this game is so dead and I’m new😭 I need some division 2 buddys
If you're below Level 40, matching for many activities- but specifically PVP will be scarce. Once you hit the endgame there's plenty of players, I rarely wait longer than 30 seconds to find a PVP match.
@@RogueGold how do I level up? I can’t even matchmake for missions cuz it be so dead
New content mystery as yet unresolved 😅
Optimization requirements are way too much.
