These are natural disasters which we can`t avoid .But don`t loose your heart once again your garden will bloom with your choices for flowers. you will have lots of birds visiting your wonderful garden. Greetings from Ireland, Beautiful garden, and Its the bees knees. Our front garden has four flower beds and fifty eight pots. My wife has no interest in gardening and she tells me it looks like a mini garden centre. We have a bigger garden out the back with grass, a glasshouse, water barrels and a no dig veg bed. Our front garden is a mixture of cottage garden flowers and prairie flowers both of which the bees and butterflies love. Next autumn I plan to create two big no dig flowers beds, I will divide flowerers from the front garden and plant them into the new beds. I have loads of homemade compost so I might as well use it in the beds. I grow annuals from seeds and they can be planted into the new beds. I had no interest in gardening twenty years ago and learned a lot over the the years from books and the internet.

This is such a calming yet inspirational film. Thank you! I'm not a gardener. I sew clothes, knit, play musical instruments, ferment things, paint in watercolour, do photography...the list is quite extensive. But gardening is scary. I've felt defeated so many times! Now, I'm going to give it a proper try (we've only lived here for twenty-five years, hehe). It's kind of reassuring that your garden is so beautiful yet you lost plants despite caring for them the best you could. Perhaps I can do this! I'm so sorry for the devastation caused by the massive ice storm. I actually cried. It must have been heartbreaking for you.

Angela, Even in January the English countryside is so beautiful. I just learned about the Vinted ebay in Britain (no fees to sell pre-owned things!) I wish we had that here in the U.S. I enjoyed seeing your post office - all automated - so modern. I wish spring wasn't so late here, where I live. We don't even have daffodils yet and it's April 23rd! Hopefully your spring is just around the corner. I do so enjoy your videos. Thank you for doing them. Suzi

We live so many miles apart, but we do many of the same things in Spring. I buy Spring flowers for the house, change my cushion covers, visit second hand stores (especially for picture frames), and scrub my California shutters. I also clean up the back deck getting it ready for summer furniture and change the wreath on the front door. My favourite seasons are Spring and Autumn. Thanks for posting, that was lovely.
