- Bonjour đ come and spend the morning with me as I try to get sorted for a upcoming road trip in our old VW CampervanâŠI need a serious glow up before I go, and I need to decide what Iâm packing! I want to look chic and put together, even though Iâll be camping âșïž Iâve bought a few new things to add to my summer capsule wardrobe and Iâve been gifted a beautiful #teddyblake handbag too. Hey đ oh wow, thatâs much more impressive than our little French trip, we are having a lovely time though, but yes, space and keeping everywhere organised is tricky, like a big game of Tetris đ weâve brought a electric fan with us but itâs not too hot, do you have air con? Mind you I think youâre in winterâŠ? Couldnât imagine the Aussie heat in summer in a van haha .. have a wonderful time!

In France it is legally obligatory to have a first aid kit in your car. Please check that you can use your new box and not need a spefic first aid kit?
Love the white dress, love flowy summer dresses but French ladies would ALWAYS add a thin gold or leopard print beltâŠ..we lived in France for a six months.
Hi Suzanne, ah thank you, Iâll put that one back on the book shelf then, thank you for the tip! Oh yes, we have one of those travel first aid kits to go in the glove box, along with the warning â ïž triangle and hi-vis vest⊠my lunch box is more for all those bits like bite cream and pain reliefâŠalthough Iâm always so silly and overpack itâs not as if France doesnât have pharmacies đđ€âŠ. Oooh that is such a good tip about the belt, I didnât thing of that and itâs help gave it a little shape, I think I have a leopard print one somewhere.. will go and dig it out! I canât get over your temperatures, it blows my mind, the campervan doesnât even have air con but we are taking a fan hahaâŠI might put some of those face spray water cans in the fridge too if it gets nice and hot! Big hugs from over here my friend x x
@hideawaycottage- Great idea to use the face spray in the heat. We have AC everywhere and ceiling fans in houses. Swimming pools and splash pads to keep cool. Ice packs when we go supermarket shopping (or the ice cream melts by the time youâre home. Lol) Weâre under an excessive heat advisory right now. When itâs too hot for kidâs playtime at school they have to stay inside and play in the classrooms. Playgrounds have mist systems. We are heading into our monsoon season this time of year. The thunderstorms are incredible. It will cool off mid October. The winters here are beautiful and mild. Another long message, but nice to chat with you. Hugs to you too Angela. The mist systems Iâd never heard of, until we visited Seville, in Spain, and I wondered whoâd sprayed me as I was walking along đand then we realised they sprayed all along the outdoor bars and restaurants⊠such a great idea. Although we are mid summer here in the uk itâs raining and quite cool, not great when we have such short summers, hopefully France will be a bit sunnier! Having a pool in your garden in the UK means youâre extremely rich and posh haha⊠the rest of us have blow up paddling pools haha⊠love hearing the differences in our countries đ thank you for sharing! This is the classiest wardrobe for camping Iâve ever seen! The colors and combinations are just beautiful. And what great bargains! The jewelry box and first aid kit ideas were brilliant. I love the gold chain idea for the handbag too. I bet Teddy Blake will add them to their bags in the future! Will they pay you a royalty for the idea?!

Hey đ thank you! The top was from Primark a few weeks ago, but it was in the new in section, so hopefully they should still have it? Itâs always a bit hit and miss with Primark though whether youâll find it⊠itâs in such a lovely soft material though so I would definitely recommend it x x
Oh my gosh, I just watched a video yesterday on the 5, 4,3,2,1, packing method yesterday. It was by the CZcams channel USE LESS. I really love her content and am going to try it for our next holiday which isnât for a while.
