A Festive Evening Walk Around Our English Village ✨🎄❄️

- Hey Everyone, Come with me and take a walk through our village Christmas fair and soak up the festive fun, there’s candy floss, lights, the Nativity, a fun fair, a Christmas fairy on stilts, music and more. I hope you’ll feel included in our community as you wander round. If you stay to the end of the video you can join us for an old fashioned (albeit not Christmassy 😂) fish ‘n’ chip supper. Hey Friends, I hope you’re all keeping well. Last night was the village Christmas Fair, so I made a quick video for you all to be able join in with the festive fun! I’ve tried not to use too much background music (so that you could get a real feeling of being with me) but the community library had Mariah Carey on full blast 🎶😂 and I didn’t want to get a copyright strike from CZcams…I hope you get a sense of our village from the video, and I promise to make a more “professional” one in a few days time…. I’ll give you a hint, there may be some sequins involved ✨🫣😂

Oh god Angela both of us in July Lettie was the 21st my husbands birthday!….. we have to remember both you and I (all of us) how blessed we were to have had them! yes been a horrible time for sure empty house amazing how a beautiful little soul can turn the house into a home! This was a true slice of nostalgia for me, taking me right back to my childhood and early teenage years in England. I could actually feel the cold air watching this, remembering so many memories. The brass band brought me to a few tears 🥲 Angela, bless your beautiful heart for making these videos and posting them, they mean the world to me. Sending hugs and gratitude from over 5,000 miles away. ❤️❤️❤️

What an absolutely charming village you live. As for the door decorations, number 22 is beautiful however when I saw 26 what a stunner. Takes me back to my childhood when I think things were different. Thankyou for taking us. What a fantastic effort your WI have made and everyone involved. A very merry Xmas to you all.
Thank you so much Tracy, both of those houses remind me of wooden dolls houses, only full sized 😊 I’d love to have look inside them haha… ah yes the WI are knitting wizards, their display for the king’s coronation was incredible 🥰
Wonderful! What a charming & quaint wee village! Along with such magical Christmas decorations. The village folks looked like they were having a jolly time at the fun fair. So much to see & do! I really loved the wee hand crafted Nativity Scene at the library. That was so sweet! Adorable! I also loved the wee Houses crafted by the lady from the Village.Those are delightful! She does an excellent job of making them. I used to collect the ceramic ones a few years ago & had a wee Village set up at Christmas every year. So I have always loved these charming wee houses. This lady's houses are even nicer than the ones I had though. I also loved seeing that cute wee dog wearing the Santa suit. LOL.That was also so sweet! Also, the Brass Band playing there was amazing! They were very talented too. A Brass band at Christmas always seems so nostalgic & reminds me of a 'Dicken's Christmas," which always carries a special Christmas ambience! My heart went out to you when you mentioned your beautiful little dog I know only too well you grief I lost my girl in July 5 months ago seems like 5 minutes ago but you and I have to remember we gave them the best life we could they will always walk beside us never gone just here in a different way ♥️🌹🐾🐾🌈 big hugs to you 🫂😘xx

Thanks for sharing , we don’t have anything in our village as there aren’t any shops, some do put lights up so it’s nice to walk round with our dog and see them , but I miss the community spirit .

😂😂 there were a few singers who were interesting, although as someone who can’t sing a note I can’t complain 😂 the chips never quite get finished, eyes bigger than our bellies 😣

They’re wonderful aren’t they! No, unfortunately not, she sells them locally via Facebook, and does some local Christmas markets, she was saying she sells out each year! Which doesn’t surprise me as they’re so charming… she did say she’d like to get a website going so I’ll keep my eye out 😊

Hi Kathy, yes of course, they’re all from Sainsburys supermarket, their home range, unfortunately only our master bedroom one is recent, the other two are from a few years ago. I have also seen nice ones in Dunelm, TK Maxx, Matalan and Asda, I hope that helps a bit… but yes the holly & stripe one in our room is very recent and was only £18 x

Hey- I think I have just replied lol, if not, our room bed set was from Sainsburys, very recently for £18… the other two rooms are sainsburys too, but from previous years. I find their bed linen such good quality x x

Hey Lynn, do you mean this one? If so it’s fab, I have two and I just move them around the house whenever I want some more light, great if you don’t have many sockets available, yes you just charge them up like your phone, I find they last a while though and charge really quickly too x
