Nicky Moroch playing a pretty clean sound through the Nolatone Road Hogg FlexiPlex 18, set at bedroom level. I really don't see why power scaling or attenuation is needed with this design!

Nolatone: Testing flush solid aircraft rivets to reinforce corners of chassis
zhlédnutí 59Před rokem
I'm now fabricating chassis' for Nolatone amplifiers in house. One challenge was to reinforce the corners. When I was having chassis done by a sheetmetal fab shop they welded the corners, which is great, but on rare occasions when the amplifier was horribly abused (dropped) I've seen the corner next to the power transformer crack down the weld. After extensive research and experimentation with ...

Note that I'm tracking this straight in to the iphone camera app, no editing, no processing, just raw audio and video. Mic on front is a Beyerdynamic M160 and on back is a Sure SM56. No EQ, compression,...

Wilson Combat P320 vs Sig P320: Can the Sig be BETTER? Part 3: Trigger shoe upgrade

A fully tricked out Wilson Combat P320 vs a bone stock Sig P320 (in this case an M17)… How do they compare and can the Sig be upgraded to be as good as the WC? Even better? Is that even possible? In this video I upgraded the trigger shoe with the trigger shoe from the Gray Guns Competition Trigger Kit, which is same as the Adjustable Straight Trigger they offer.

Great handgun! The only thing I wish Wilson will do - include a nice plate to cover optics plate when you using it without optics.
Very cool, thank you for your service, and for the video!
Thanks for watching!
That’s so funny kousin karl
Sounds better than your “raise up”
This video was a LIFESAVER!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
I have been trying to figure this out for years. The tab online just doesn't quite work.
Thanks for figuring this out! Here's a vid of Mike Campbells guitar tech saying the tuning is dropped down @ 6:55 czcams.com/video/XZ5hu-ux4CY/video.htmlsi=E1uPGVQuKMmn2t9D
Thanks for the video. I don’t think his statement tells the whole story on that tuning though. I sure enjoyed watching the video though!
@@nolatone you're right - thanks again for figuring it out. Those chords are gonna sound great though my sg. I thought you would enjoy the confirmation from the vid!
@@jorge6528 indeed I do. Thanks!
You definitely don’t need a break-in period With these guns.
Great video I just got the EDC X 9, if I had a watched your video first I might’ve went with the one you got, but I love them. Both Wilson combat is next to none in quality.
Thank you for your video! I recently eliminated the Prodigy, DWX, CZ Shadow 2, and the Bul Armory Tac II. I am trying to decide between the Wilson Combat FST9 and the Staccato P. Do both pistols have a metal clip well? How are the warranties on each pistol? How easy are they to clean?
What a sound!
Thank you!
The disclaimer is idiotic….I’ve never seen anything like that before. Just make the video…..or if you are somehow that concerned about liability for yourself then don’t make it….
Or…you can get off of CZcams and back on your meds. 👌
Every bit counts, I am going to grab some for my DWX compact! Thanks for sharing.
I have the compact as well, and so far I’m not feeling and need to change the grips. Let me know how you like it with yours. Mine is going to be my main carry gun.
@@nolatone good to know I do like the looks of the stock grips. It will be my main carry as well at least during the day out and about. At night since no rail I will carry my P-365 macro.
I'm going to give this ago now on the side of the road to fix my van
Worked perfectly. Thank you!
I tried the exact same thing and it broke the plastic underneath. LOL now I just bought the tool and we'll see if that works.😂
Stock grip screws ??
Yes
Does it just straight bolt in to the original stuff in the back? My back right tire blew out 2 years ago an destroyed all the lines back there including the rear heater core lines
Yep,Fittings are the same size as OEM.
Could I happen to ask for the link to be posted here please

Appreciate the video. Just picked up one last week and was looking at grips.
That worked great thanks
I recently upgraded the trigger in my 320 from the curved trigger to a straight Legion trigger. The comfort and feel of the straight trigger really surprised me. I would recommend doing at least that one upgrade if you have a curved trigger. This is a great series you put together. Thanks for the effort to make it.
Beastly!
Come on now, get a friend to view this, so I can hit that coveted 650 views in 10 years. 😂😂 Seriously though, thanks for the kind words.
Beautiful I need it
Badass!! Saving up.
I’m about to try this. It’s pretty cold out so I’m going to hit it with a heat gun for a minute.
What a wonderful amplifier.
Yes, it's a 10 year old video, but that is a big, ballsy tone coming from that little amp.
The second is the most pleasing to my ears, the first sounds a bit muddy.
Your 500th sub😎🍻🔫
Woot!
I wish my 03 Tundra had that much room. Wipers an inch from the glass.
Great help. Thanks, Subaru forester however has hole through glass /rear tailgate. I use Brake Away / "cyclo" / spray. Works well given bit time 4 penetrating.
Those are my choices as well. What red dot fits in there without a plate? So it sits lower? I never liked a plate, I like it sitting down in the cut if I can. God Bless America to you too brother.
How many inches is the barrel?
4”, or 4.25”. Can’t remember, check their website.
Next time do Night Hawk Custom for their IOS system for optics.
You send it, I’ll do it.
I did not offer to send anything. When you opt for red dot optics on your 1911 style guns try Night Hawk system. It won;t stick out like the Wilson. The slide has to have internal extractor though. I just think it is a better system. BTW you could remove the red dot and put it on another gun with IOS system. No shift in point of impact. Just check it out.@@nolatone
@@ThePerfeckted I’m aware. I’ve heard great things about their system Just not going to spend the cash anytime soon. Honestly, I really don’t care that much about red dots. I have them on some guns, but I’m committed to being proficient with irons, I probably would’ve rather had one without the mount.
Brilliant! Tried a few ways found on other videos, none of them worked. This method worked like a charm, Cheers!
I don’t know how I missed this, but A++++, my brother. “Ya gotta play through it!!”
Truth!!
Good test. Haven't heard an A B test in the same rig. Both sound good.
Why is he not being called one of the greatest guitarists on the planet?
This worked for the arms on my 1990 Toyota pickup. There's no room for a puller or any type of pry tool. A little upward pressure with my hand and a couple of light taps on the nut with a hammer and they came right off. Thanks!
Nice review, but you gotta cut down on the nose candy. 🤣😉
Some heroes don’t wear capes. Thank you - your tip worked like a charm!
Wish I’d known yesterday too!😂
Love it ! And the fact he is wearing a Supro shirt
Your video is very helpful and informative, thank you.
Is it a full size grip on it?
I'm not sure what you mean by "full size". It's large enough to accommodate a double stack magazine, but it's thinner than the EDC X9 because it doesn't have add-on grip panels. Length-wise, I'd say it is full size as most people can fit all 4 fingers without need for a pinky extension.
@@nolatone I apologize, that is what I meant, length wise. I should had just said that to begin with. Thank you Sir for verifying that for me.
What if it is the rear wiper?
I can’t say. I have not tried on rear.
Thank you! Worked easily and saved me a lot of hassle
Nice hack! Thanks man.
Great video! Informative and entertaining. Funny, my sfx9 4” is at WC now for an ambi safety. after listening to you speak about the flat trigger I’m thinking if I should switch. The sfx and stacatto pistols shoot themselves but always looking for better performance. All my 1911/2011s have the curved trigger. You had a marked improvement?? Thanks for the review, 100% agree.
Cool video, thx for sharing!
