I have an SFT9. The SF is for solid frame. The T is for track pattern. I have the same sights you have on yours. I’ve added an Aimpoint Acro P2. The True Zero mounting system is the most secure I’ve seen. Great gun. Like you, a long time 1911 fan. I appreciate the thinner grip, look of the gun, internal extractor. I also think it’s the perfect length at 4.25” Cheers.
Great video I just got the EDC X 9, if I had a watched your video first I might’ve went with the one you got, but I love them. Both Wilson combat is next to none in quality.
Thank you for presenting your weapons safely! Also, thanks for emphasizing the importance of tactical skills training (and maintaining). A former friend practically killed me with a full-house .357 (accidental discharge) a few years ago because he failed the most basic safety-awareness drills--he didn't clear the cylinder before pointing the gun and working the trigger. Other key tactical skills we must stay sharp with? Your handgun should be an extension of your mind. The ability to respond to danger with a handgun means not being the cause of the danger. Thanks again for this valuable video.
Funny enough, I have the PM9, p365 and Staccato P while I am waiting on the 10 day hold for my SFT9. I see myself + 20 years in this video 😄. Appreciate the review.
Great video! Informative and entertaining. Funny, my sfx9 4” is at WC now for an ambi safety. after listening to you speak about the flat trigger I’m thinking if I should switch. The sfx and stacatto pistols shoot themselves but always looking for better performance. All my 1911/2011s have the curved trigger. You had a marked improvement?? Thanks for the review, 100% agree.
A man after my own heart. I have a room full of amps because of chasing tone. The best is my Trainwreck Rocket I built through 4x12 with greenbacks (haven’t tried the detuned cab I built with a couple celestion blues yet). I also have the Experior and love it, but now I’m interested in the SFT9 for the reasons you mention. Still, my favorite remains the CZ PCR with trigger job by Cajun Gun Works. That is truly 99% of a great 1911 trigger. Those sear cages are a pain to work on compared to the simpler 1911 platform, but the ergos are to die for. A gun that’s a little smaller is the CZ Rami also cajunized. It packs away real easy. I have to admit though that the 365XL put on a macro grip is pretty sweet too. I just don’t trust a striker in appendix carry.
Thank you for your video! I recently eliminated the Prodigy, DWX, CZ Shadow 2, and the Bul Armory Tac II. I am trying to decide between the Wilson Combat FST9 and the Staccato P. Do both pistols have a metal clip well? How are the warranties on each pistol? How easy are they to clean?
Those are my choices as well. What red dot fits in there without a plate? So it sits lower? I never liked a plate, I like it sitting down in the cut if I can. God Bless America to you too brother.
I'm not sure what you mean by "full size". It's large enough to accommodate a double stack magazine, but it's thinner than the EDC X9 because it doesn't have add-on grip panels. Length-wise, I'd say it is full size as most people can fit all 4 fingers without need for a pinky extension.
The late great James Yeager famously said, "your responsibility to be prepared for the fight never ends." Mind set, should be part of training, alongside with tactics, & pistol/rifle craft.
I was at gun shop arguing over STACCATO vs WILSON COMBAT .but it was fun cause the shop had a hold Shelf full of STACCATOS and no WILSON COMBAT and al the salespeople were on Staccatos's DICK And riding it hard.one person even told me U are just PAYING for there symbol with the EAGLE to have on your GUN . So we went back and Forth for a few minutes.

Great handgun! The only thing I wish Wilson will do - include a nice plate to cover optics plate when you using it without optics.

Great review. Helped me decide on this model over the edc Thank you Sir. Great info.
Your video is very helpful and informative, thank you.
Cool video, thx for sharing!

Fantastic video - I love my Wilson’s and have 2 EDC X9’s, ordering an SFX and eventually and SFT - great guns!
They will ruin you for most else!

Amen brother!
Someday I'll have to leave the world of the .45! Good video.
You definitely don’t need a break-in period With these guns.

Which one do you prefer the Staccato CS or the SFT9 for CCW.
Definitely SFT9. The grip being milled into the frame saves girth and makes it more streamlined.
How many inches is the barrel?
4”, or 4.25”. Can’t remember, check their website.
Is it a full size grip on it?

@@nolatone I apologize, that is what I meant, length wise. I should had just said that to begin with. Thank you Sir for verifying that for me.
Why was your thumbnail of a Staccato when the video is about a Wilson?
CZcams auto selected thumbnail. I should edit that. Thanks.
Nice review, but you gotta cut down on the nose candy. 🤣😉
You don't have to show us if the guns are cleared.

Obviously you don’t carry any of them. Lol
Only to your moms house.
Your 500th sub😎🍻🔫
Woot!
that's becouse stacato is beating there ass in sales .
What is?
That's bullshit. People are caught up in the HYPE o STACCATO once they hear the name everything else goes out the window.
I Ben saying Wilson combat makes staccato look like JUNK .
