I remember one of my friends after giving birth said "I KNOW it was the worst pain I've ever gone through, but it's like my brain has tricked me into forgetting about it so I'll have another baby" and your thing about wallpaper reminded me of that somehow lol. You should think about decoupage-ing a poster to the ugly side of the door. The trim will look like a frame.

I feel you on the wallpaper-hanging hate. Every time I do it (three times so far) I swear I am never doing it again. And then here we are contemplating doing an accent wall in the guest bedroom.

Frame out the back of the door to look like and antique picture frame. Then add a holographic picture so when the door opens I changes.

I can’t tell you how cool I think the hidden door and hooks are. The paint and wallpaper are gorgeous, but the little surprise at the end blew me away. I absolutely love this.
