If you are interested in Kamikaze Attack after watching this movie, I recommend the work "Eternal Zero" directed by Takashi Yamazaki. It is the story of the main character who resisted the Kamikaze attack until the end. It's not a true story, but it seems that there was a similar person.

Every episode practically has a banger of a song, and it's so hard to say which is the best. Also, the cotton candy thing she mentions "Let them have cake, let them have pie." because both are fluffy and filling, where cotton candy melts and like an ice cube it's less than when it's whole. It makes you want to eat more.

I had a personal call-back to this movie. When they filmed the empty London scene, it was a huge deal. Central London is NEVER quiet so they were lucky to get the shots they needed at something crazy early in the morning. During the pandemic, I had to walk over that bridge to get to work (I was classed as an essential government worker) and I had the weirdest sense of fear and dejavu the first few times thanks to this movie as the area was absolutely barren, for the first time in many years. A young man actually used the opportunity to re-film that scene, knowing it would probably be their only shot - I'm sure it's somewhere on CZcams. Bit of trivia for you. Glad you guys enjoyed the movie! <3

As I understand it, episode 8 was originally meant as a sort of epilogue to the previous episode, but due to Kesha guest staring/writing apparently the record co she was tied to at the time stepped in to create some legal drama that cause the delay of it's release. Also, poor Dennis.

She is all about self-indulgence and encourages others to do it as well, since their self-indulgence is what energizes her. She said it herself she can "taste" their feelings. However, she doesn't like when people indulge themselves in a self-destructive way, like Blitz was doing. It's always interesting to see the embodiments of the sins actually rejecting the more negative side of the sin they represent. Also... Beelzebub mentions two other sins: Belphegor, the Sin of Sloth (and the provider of "happy pills" and other drugs) and Satan (not to be confused with Lucifer), the Sin of Wrath (and adored by Imps as somewhat of a deity).

If y’all read, check out John Wyndham’s The Day Of The Triffids, (not the film,) it’s only about 280pgs, and this film pulls so much of it’s story directly from that book. The most obvious thing taken from the book is the waking up in the hospital after the event has happened-Same thing that happens in The Walking Dead, tho I dunno if Robert Kirkman took that from Day Of The Triffids or 28 Days Later. In a similar way to how George A. Romero & John A. Russo pulled from Richard Matheson’s I Am Legend and the first adaptation (and best) of I Am Legend, The Last Man On Earth (1964) starring Vincent Price. They’re zombies, you can call them zombies. If there is not literal voodoo magick involved in the origination of the film’s zombies/infected thenI don’t see the difference from one zombie to another. One of the few sticking points with me when it comes to this film is that the creators wanted to avoid being associated with the zombie genre because at the time it was still B-film horror that never garnered much via the box office. The other thing that annoys me is the intro to the film, as an animal rights person I am sooo taken out of the film when I see the activists unmasked and when they don’t seem to know what the lab their raiding is all about because the kinds of activists that rescue animals like that have usually done the research about what the facility is, what they do, how they do it, etc., and of course, they’d all be masked, (so if it’s a situation where the actors are like, “I need them to see my face for the reel,” then have a shot before hand where they’re putting their masks on.) Also, if a scientist is pleading with these activists, there’s no way they’d shot “they’re infected…with rage,” because that is incredibly stupid. They’d probably try to scientifically explain it or would just say, “it’s contagious, and it’s like rabies.” Right? Anyway, if y’all have not seen the sequel 28 Weeks Later (2007,) it is worth the watch. Also, if y’all have not read the book World War Z, not only do I highly recommend reading it, (it’s nothing like the film-Literally, at all,) I absolutely recommend reading the full-cast audiobook, (there’s probably as many big names in that audiobook’s cast as there are in 2023’s Oppenheimer.)

you lost me with the comparison to Star Wars. Star Wars got its inspiration from Dune. Both the writer, frank Herbert, and the director was showing us Paul is from Royalty. His loyalty is to his famliy. They are colonizers!! Frank Herbert was trying to warn us about charismatic leaders. They both were trying to convey this without explaining it to us. By treating the audience like adults. Chani has the moral compass of the story. She stay true to her people and believed their messiah should come from her own people, not a foreigner. I guess it depends on you background and the background of your ancestry. Some people will always root for the colonizer.

It’s a shame they’re not seeing the deeper nuances of Aegon’s character. He’s written as a narrative foil to Joffrey, who was sadistic and psychopathic. Aegon, while a scumbag, is fundamentally a broken person who has never known love. He loved Jaehaerys, but that’s not acknowledged in this reaction. It sucks because Tom Glynn Carney as Aegon really is turning in a remarkable performance in this episode, I can see him and Rhys Ivans being nominated for an Emmy.

We saw Aegon crying alone. I know you skipped past the scene in this video - but it didn’t feel performative at all to me. I think he legitimately loved his true born son. He also didn’t want them to parade his son’s body through the streets. I think it’s deeper than you guys are giving Aegon credit for tbh. Also, Viserys spent more time with his model than he ever did with Aegon. Destroying it was justified imo

*THIS FILM NEEDS A LEGACY SEQUEL!!* (set over 20 years after the original) Where we see a grown up Yuki and Ame both go on to raise their own child and how the paths they took influence how they raise them. The cousins end up crossing paths and through each other they learn about their other half that was kept hidden from them. The sequel should be told from the cousins point of view (particularly Yuki's child) to make the film stand-alone from the original. Mamoru Hosoda already did a sequel already, The Girl who Leapt Through Time (which was a stand-alone sequel to the original novel).

I've always thought pulp fiction was Quentin's homage to a couple of early Stanley Kubrick films, Dr strangelove, and The Killing! And a movie he named his production company after, A Band Apart. So I'm writing this to give u some pre pro tips, leading up to pulp fiction, so it's more about Quentin and his earlier credits, particularly reservoir Dogs! Before this, Tarantino had writing creds for Dusk til Dawn with George Clooney and True Romance! Which is a movie about himself being a video store clerk, but turning Hollywood fantasy! True Romance is action packed, completely unreal, and totally star studded! He also did co writing/directing with Robert Rodriguez on The Mariachi , with Antonio Banderas and Death proof, with Kurt Russell!! He often has dialogue heavy movies, and long segments in them, where actors seem to be out of character, and having a discussion in various life circumstances, like the breakfast scene here, or in reservoir Dogs, or the foot massage scene in Pulp Fiction here! Pro tips, Vic Vega from reservoir Dogs is Vince Vega's brother from pulp fiction! Eddie bunker as Mr Blue was a former Bank robber, who went to jail, and started writing crime stories, while in! Mr White put up 5 mil to get this movie made, so he could play Mr White! James Woods was up for either Mr White or Mr Pink roles, but his manager didn't give him the script. James fired him! Sam Jackson was supposed to play the role of the black dude undercover cop, but Tarantino said, wait im writing another part for you, which became Pulp Fiction! If u watch his movies, he uses the same actors over and over! Sam, harvey, Tim, and others, in several of his movies...Sam the most. This, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Hateful Eight, and a voice in Inglorious basterds. Nobody liked the Boss, most of the other actors wanted to beat his ass! He thought he was old school Hollywood royalty and above the other actors. Like several of his other movies, this is based on an old Japanese samurai story, about a group of samurai who get slaughtered in a revenge ploy. The few left realize, one of them is a traitor who tipped off a warlord. Also, search up, Reservoir Dogs posters....there are so many iconic shots from this movie, I have 4 posters as wall art! U may not like his language all the time, but in private moments, street level , homey folks, rednecks, the brothas on the corner, on the block, the crazy chicas....u know they be talkin to each other like this. The moral of this story? Always know the drugs u are about to take!😅 Also yes, Quentin has foot fetish! So in a way, Quentin lied...he daid he would only direct 10 movies. But if u add up movies he had a bit of writing or director time in, u have to add. True Romance, Death Proof, The Mariachi, and Dusk til Dawn. Pro tip....the OD shot scene, he has 2 board games on his table...life and operation! Since his 70s tv show, Welcome back Kotter, through every movie he did through the 2000s, Travolta always did a dance scene!

Very fun movie I still enjoy. In real life the Jamaican team was actually very welcomed by the other teams.

90s Disney was the best. PG rated films were actually Parental Guidance, not Practically G. Innuendos, swearing, and some pretty intense imagery were the norm. It was great. There were some awkward moments, like when an adult woman kissed a 10 year old boy on the lips in Blank Check or a boys who weren't much older than that literally buy a prostitute in Milk Money, but when you're allowed to take some risks, you're going to have masterpieces and a few that make you cringe. I'll take that world over a world where Frozen is PG.

Jean and Scott have so much love for each other and so much history together, that no matter how much messiness goes on, they can stand together at the end of the line and be there for each other.
