@@QuasarYGO - Agreed, her super nerd credentials are on full display with all her X-Men knowledge, and you can tell she really loves them. She provides a ton of good insight to the characters and their powers/motivation that helps Storm fully appreciate everything.
Guys. It is not the MCU characters. It is the 90's cartoon haracters who are crossing over. We had a 90's spiderman reference in the first episode as well.
I would agree until episode 5 popped up with The Watcher in the sky. His appearance potentially merges the entire MCU.

Jean and Scott have so much love for each other and so much history together, that no matter how much messiness goes on, they can stand together at the end of the line and be there for each other.
Cap’s cameo was symbolism for how America is not present for minorities. This is genius adding a different version of Cap. As Cap is an American symbol in the way X-Men is a symbol for minorities.
Nailed it RIGHT on the head! Cap wanting to do everything ‘by the book’, fully knowing that they can do MUCH MORE to help.

@@AscendedXSaiyan The issue here is that if they don't act quickly the international organization working with Gyrick was likely to move him. Capt is right that attacking mexican forces in this costume would cause issues... so leave the costume. Doing what is right should come before nationalism for capt and for this reason he sheds the red, white, and blue in the mcu. But here he isn't willing to do so here, even just temporarily. He could also just send one or more of the other avengers, but again, he isn't willing to do so here.

29:00 The show isn't clear but it just may be that most mutants have died in Genosha. I cling to the notion that Genosha in the show was much smaller than in the comics, so it wouldn't come to over 90% of mutants worldwide having just died.
Magneto did say later that thousands died on Genosha...so not too far off...
Bastion is the human form of Nimrod the robot from the future that attack the X-Men

Slight correction there on Morph changing into Wolverine there Storm.
If that happened he *MIGHT* gain the healing power, but he *WOULD* have claws! His would just be bone, instead of adamantium.
Morph changing to Logan would the same live version of Mystique back in the first X-Men trying to fool te rest the team with her mutant ability trick,there the caws were bones?.For Mystique,she can look like the people she copies& not displays their physical powers,like speed of Quicksilver or strength of the Hulk & has her own scent along with wounds if it were recent to tip off anyone even Logan's sensitive animal sniffer of a nose?.

There is NO MCU tie in.
There was Marvel before MCU.
However, there are some illustrations that are consistent with the MCU. Like Forge magic is the same with the Dr Strange
Actually, there are several MCU tie-ins: The version of Uatu that showed up in episode 5 is the same as the one in "What If?"; not the comics version. And this version of Ross sounds like the same one in "What If" as well. "What If" is considered Canon to the MCU.

The Watcher is an everlasting being and didn't affect the story, if you missed his silhouette it neither changes or affects anything.
Ross is of the Hulk cartoons of the 90s so is every cameo that showed up. The only difference was Black Panther for some reasons T'challa wasn't used like the 90s but his father T'chaka.
If there were tie-ins the show wouldn't make any sense.
That doesn't mean there wouldn't be in future
What if is Canon to MCU. Xmen began before MCU and made sure not to tie in both to avoid polluting the story as MCU has been fumbling for a long time since End Game.
Hence, 97 is a huge win for Kevin Feige

I think you both should see episodes 8,9,10 at one go. Its a part 1,2 and 3 same title.
At this point we were all still expecting Magneto to be alive, but after this episode the paranoia set in. We see Magneto but is that "our" Magneto? After all Sinister is involved...

Stop saying the mcu crossovers. It's not. Just because you only know things from the movies doesn't make it movies related. There's 60 years of comic book lore they're pulling from.the marvel characters in this show have appeared before any mcu was thought of. 10 times out of 10 they're referencing things from the comics storyline wise.

I think they are referencing to how they know Cap and Ross because of their MCU counterparts. They both know the show takes place on the same Earth as X-Men TAS.
As for the cameo, it was a reference to Rogue attacking Cap after temporarily absorbing Captain Marvel’s powers. This isn’t an arc from the comics
