would a recombination mountaintop do more damage than witherhoard or is witherhoard better? Just curious because ive seen a lot of people using mountaintop in damage rotations recently

Thank you so much! I finally did it with this strategy. It also worked great for the next one (seventh seal).for anyone struggling still,don't give up, use this strategy, it's much better than most of the others that are found online. Most strategies require perfect execution and all materia maxed out. This one has a lot of leeway. I did it really clumsily and with some materia not maxed out (mp absorption, magic focus). Thanks again op!!

Season 4 is wild, i finished Elias capstone at level 59, it's in my channel. Havent played season 2-3 and i was astonished was able to finish it below level 60 wow.

getting slightly irritated with these videos of people having items theyd get from from chadley brutal and legendary challenges. If people already have those items, they definitely wouldnt need a help with this fight. my only gripe with this fight is that in remake you could instant stagger with braver and blade beam hitting at any point where in rebirth it only works with braver which is much shorter range and if you dont do it at the exact precise time otherwise he counters anyways and still knocks you on your ass.

Summoning Gilgamesh just before the second phase transition saved my ass with this one!

Chronos second stage is far more pain in the a** than Hades used to be, me thinks. Sadly my usual way of going dodge from Hermes, Aphrodite, Arcana and lackluster Selene's boon is not enough to play your usual "boxer" close range. This guy is your typical "you don't wan't to stay around" kind of boss. ;)

I'm still playing this. Side quests in hard mode such shit.

They should add more shortcuts. Having to use the menu to select commands instead of having at least 8 doesnt make the game look fluid. I want to fight without having to open a menu every 2 seconds.

Get to the point 6 mins in and still waiting for the strat.

Staggering him during Tempus Finis is easy IF he's almost staggered from doing Octoslash. Somehow I couldn't get the timing right and he always started Tempus Finis with almost 0 pressure. At that point it was basically impossible to stagger him on time. Since I was doing this fight with close to no MP on Cloud (and no Healing materia on Aerith for some reason), I had to do a perfect run and save Cloud's lvl. 3 Limit for Tempus Finis. Took me almost 3 hours to learn how to do the fight perfectly without any magic. 😮‍💨

Guys bring Odin and run out his clock second phase for some reason he kills my Rufus everytime hard mode and dynamic this has happened

Thank you! I had tried lots of other set ups but this was the closest to what I already had on Cloud going into the Rude fight. It was much less frustrating not resetting everything, and only took a couple more tries. I ditched haste though. Although he blocks consistently I found atb built quick enough, you can basically make him immobile whilst building atb. It gave me something less to worry about and more time for chakra and regen. Gilgamesh at the end was a brilliant help, I just hadn't been getting that far before.

If you use braver while he's reloading... INSTANT stagger.
