sir I have both THR and ASR in hips.. pls help me to avoid stiffness in hip
this is a split squat, a lunge is a single rep then back to starting position
Hey this was a nice little stretch routine. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
What can we do other than cardiovascular activities to improve vascularization because not all patients indulge in those activities...
Thank you @rubirubina1986. There are definitely other options. In order to find something specifically for you, we'd need to know what is limiting you from doing the ones that we described in the video. This will allow us to find something more appropriate and safe.
I do this every day. It really helps. Thanks Gabe.
That's great to hear! We're so glad this video has helped you :)
Thanks!
Happy to help!
Thanks for sharing this great information!
Glad it was helpful!
when i had really bad back pain i was forced to hunch my self, eventually i was tired of being a hunchback and bear the pain, it eventually stopped hurting.
Thanks for the comment @keatonunique1623. Glad to hear that it worked out for you!
What
I tried it with being more erect but I had to back away from the wall. 😢
This is for strengthening the soleus muscle. Do you have a recommendation for how to release the soleus muscle tightness. Went biking over the weekend...an hour ride on each day. I guess I was rushing the season but my calf muscles are in pain. Had a calf cramp and if I stretch it the wrong way, it's got me. Ugh!! Calf area and thighs are tight!!!! 😢
I'm sorry to hear about your calf muscle pain! You might find our video on soleus muscle stretches helpful: czcams.com/video/gfZyGZIz2Xs/video.html. Take care!
Thanks regards from Mexico City.💫
Thank you for watching! Hope this was helpful for you
Thank you good sir for this excellent and precise education I really appreciate it❤
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Fantastic Miss lovely 😮 are you 💕
Shouldn't you be lifting your body weight?
Thank you for the comment @earny12345. You are correct, I should have been lifting my entire body weight to get the most benefit from this exercise. Funny enough, after I watch some of the videos I make, I cringe from some of the mistakes that I discover watching me do the exercise. This is actually a great way of evaluating my weight training technique by filming myself and then critiquing it. If we make an updated video, I'll make sure to pass it your way!
Why can’t I add a comment

you're probably right!

Very helpful video, thanks. One question: how long should I hold these stretches? In the video, they're not being held for very long. I wasn't sure if that was for instructional purposes or if that's the best way to do it. I have a lot of tightness in this area and it causes achilles issues and I think some knee instability as well. Thanks again!
Hi Brandon, generally you should hold the stretch for about 30-60 sec. You should feel a deep stretch, but not pain. You’re correct that calf tightness can lead to knee problems. Best of luck on your health journey.

Will this help severs
It's difficult to provide general advice without first performing a thorough examination. That being said, for the general population, and for someone who is on their feet for a long period of time each day, it’s generally a good idea to work on your flexibility and mobility. These stretches will help with that. Additionally, a strengthening program would also be to consider for your overall health and wellness. You can find some examples here: czcams.com/video/n6at8w6pO98/video.html
I call this the deadbug
this is not jack knife, this is a lying bird dog
Good for snapping hip syndrome ?
In general terms, this exercise should help. However, every situation is unique and it'd be best to consult with a healthcare professional prior to starting an exercise regime.
Pretty face therapist
Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Glad we could help :)
One has to be really fit to do these exercises, usually fit people don't need them because they are fit!
Hi Mark! We also have another video on Beginner Soleus Muscle Strengthening Exercises: czcams.com/video/UxVDZMdisf0/video.html Hope this helps!
I inverse sprained my ankle playing basketball at a church and i haven't been able to be too active on my ankle. This happened roughly 11 weeks ago and the pain comes back when I am physically active. Should I be worried, or should I just continue the therapy and push on?
Thanks for the question @Aaron R. It sounds like you're working with a physiotherapist? If so I imagine they gave you some advice? If you haven't seen someone about this problem, I'd suggest you do. It's really difficult to know without checking out your ankle in person. Does it feel better than it did when you first injured it? Do you feel it any other times than playing B-ball? It it still swelling up? I don't feel comfortable throwing out possible diagnoses, as it might cause more confusion/worry. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
@@bestphysioexercises They said I had an inverse sprain near my right ankle and that I needed to take physical therapy. It hurts if I do so much as pivot or jump to the point where it feels as if I re-sprained my ankle
@@aaronroebuck69 Have you gone to see a physical therapist yet? If it's been more than 11 weeks and you're still feeling like there's not much improvement, I would definitely get someone to have a look. You don't want to be re-spraining it over and over because it could turn into something more serious. Likely taking a break from B-ball until you get it checked, would be my first piece of advice.
@@bestphysioexercises I have taken a break from harsh physical activity since the sprain and have just now started physical therapy. Should I just continue to do the exercises in the video and await results? I don't have the money to see a physical therapist so I went here for the video
@@aaronroebuck69 I’m not in a position to give advice without seeing you myself, but If I were to say anything (this is NOT advice), I’d say if you can hop side to side forward and back without re-spraining it, you should be able to at least start shooting around.
This really helped , Ty!
Awesome, we're so glad we could help :)
Thank you. This will help.
