I have never changed the watcher on the drain plugs either on my car, ATV or mc and it have never leeked the last 30 years! i check for leeks after a little driving ofc.

Back in the day when I was flying all the time and involved with our local club ... the trick we used was to take a pair of pliers and just very lightly squeeze the ball-link while it is on the ball ... then test it to see if it feels slightly looser ... you don't want to overdo it ... that's all it takes. Just be careful not to squeeze too hard, less is more, you can always do it a second, third ... time.

Found out the hard way. to remove that inner screw everybody is stripping you have to turn clockwise. righty loosy on both.

I think the regen is for show cause all it does for my bike is an auto breaking that's what I says it's call. Lol

relay switch wire connected to the ignition live wire? so all the accesory already draining power directly from battery before engine started yes? would it be wise to connect switch wire to the one that is live AFTER engine stared? lol

I’ve yet to do this on my bike. It appears that you turned the nut on the left side of the bike down, and the nut on the right side up. That detail is important to note.

Sounds like a thumper. I like the first slip on without the silencer, especially for California lane splitting. The second one sounds like a straight pipe and has too much braap. How do you like those Trailmax Missions? They last forever. I switched mine out the the Raids and like them as much on road. Haven't tested them off road.

What kind of bag is that on the seat? Is it just a backpack or a rear tail bag? Is there somewhere you would recomend getting an inexpensive tool roll from? I already have some extra tools i can put in one. Thanks

PEOPLE...Don't follow this advice! Here's why.. OKAY...Found you again. Yes, my linkage was RIDICULOUSLY tight as well. SO...Followed your dopey advice. Removed the ball link from the blade grip, then went to take the one off the swashplate, and the stud snapped! Now, YOU go and try to find an OMP swashplate right now. Unless you're willing to pay almost double for a Micro heli swash, yer not gonna find one too easily. After messing around with various polishes, and even some oil, with my 1.5mm Allen bit in my drill, going in to the ball joint to spin it in the link, I finally realized I was wasting my time. Long and short of it, I DID do the age old trick we used to do in the R/C car world, of a light squeeze with the pliers on the link while on the ball and that did it, first time, no problem. Loosened them up perfectly. So, The balls I'd ordered form some shop in California (I'm in Florida) that took 8 days to come, of course don't fit, (wrong thread for the bottom of swash, would try them on the top balls, but I'M NOT unscrewing ANYTHING I don't have to on this thing now!) so I ordered a plastic swash from AMain JUST for the damned ball. Idunno how much of your time you wasted doing it that way, but I have only 3 flights on my heli before I decided to "Make your mod". big mistake. JUST USE PLIERS! lol

Just watched this, totally agree on what you said about the dislikes. One other thing i thought would be spoked wheels. Like you, I wanna take this bike off road whenever i feel like it. I could probably disagree about the tyres, because so many people have a different preference to tyres, but at least have the wheels for better off road use, doesn't matter too much about the wheels if you just ridevl the bike on the road. Because it is a mini Africa or adventure bike spoked wheels would support that more, in my opinion. Great review thanks

I am so torn between these two bikes! Ugh!!! I have to make a decision.

Our bikes are not powerful, but I think just about any tire could break loose on cold wet paint. l :^) It never occurred to me to put 705's on the rear. The front has been good to me on my DL650 and on my CB500x. I live on Vancouver Island, where I daresay it's just as cold and wet as coastal Oregon. I ride all year, too. I've used Annakee Adv and now theTKC70 rocks on the rear, because the traction is needed 6-10 times a year when I go way up some steep logging spur to go hiking.

I had 705s on my 650GS for 11 years and never had a problem in the wet. I now have an Africa twin which came with 705s and I don't plan on changing them out.
