I do not even have my Talaria yet and Iv been trying to find a way to make a Thumb throttle work. for me it is because I come from Mountain biking not so much moto and I want my throttle on the Left so I can Have my Rear Brake on the right Like I am used to.. few other reasons as well to lazy to type right now lol

And funny like first day I.whiskey throttled it on sport mode ..bad. I launched it and me up a set of stairs I was trying to turn at ...oops hahaha

Yup nearly broke my ankle, I had hightops on but still road rashed it bad, deff getting a proper boot now, and hurt my hipn side good...I didnt take it off eco for a few rides after that lmao I now switch back and fourth eco /sport, depending where I am and such, but I wish there was a proper fix for it!
@@sa2ah0 my wife will ride in eco. Then if she wants to go faster, she’ll switch to sport mode while riding.
If my buddy had proper boots on, he wouldn’t of broke his leg.

I think the big thing with Talaria (or SurRon) safety is that they *seem* so unassuming and un-intimidating. Usually people equate 'smaller size' with less power, less weight, and easier to control.
Inexperienced friends (and strangers) will just come up and ask to ride it, where they would never think to ask to ride your real motorcycle. It's like they know better than to just try and hop on and ride something that they know they don't know how to control. Non-riders see the Talaria and just assume that they know how to control it just fine... but obviously they have no idea.
The only people I've ever let ride my Talaria are people that I know have experience with dirt bikes. The instant torque these things put out even takes a lot of motorcycle riders by surprise.
There isn't any other 'safety feature' that needs to be engaged other than the one between a person's ears. I didn't get my Talaria for other people to be stupid or taken by surprise on.
So my buddy that broke his leg grew up on dirt bikes, rides the hell out of street bikes, and has ridden the Talaria before. There were some other issues though:) Like everyone had been drinking.
@@OregonMotorcycle Hahaha yeah... 'other issues' 🤣I hear ya, but then, not many people would hop on a real motorcycle in that state. They know better, even with uhh... impaired thought processes 😂 The best of friends and smartest of people still do dumb things. We all do - I'm glad it didn't turn out worse 😉
