I’m reside in Oregon as well, Beaverton side.
So, the sumo kit also has a 40T sprocket also, correct? Did you use that new 40T sprocket and chain? Or swap out for the factory 44T sprocket and chain?
On stock wheels, the gear ratio one bellow the factory setting is literally spot on. I've GPS'd it and it less than 1mph off, compared to 4mph on the factory middle setting.

It definitely feels like the bike moves a little better I'm big though I'm nearly 6' 235 pounds.... Gonna start riding it to work again 32 km each way and seeing if I get more range. I was using about 46% to go one way on 19", Half eco half sport

on my talaria i just hold that top button down on the eggrider a few seconds and it goes into settings, without turning the bike on an off. just an observation.
also I'm trying to understand you. on my stock-everything talaria, should I have my ratio set to the middle one (3/5) or the one below (4/5)? is that more accurate speedometer? Thanks man!

Anyway, yes if your Talaria is stock, the gear ratio settings 4/5 is more accurate. I think it’s 9.5.
Sorry sometimes I talk too fast and assume people know what I’m talking about. When I was editing this I was like yeah their gonna have to be on their A game to keep up🤣
