How to give Pencils & Notebooks - ✎W&G✎
2B lead .7 or .9 mm on textured paper is fantastic. I like traditional pencils as well, but 2B is not the same on those.
Isn't this Birol?
French company, Chinese manufactured. Very similar to the Maped, Helix Oxford pencil, also French owned, Chinese manufactured.
I love CZcams! Never in my life did i think I'd want to watch pencil reviews but here we are ❤
That SABLE made me laugh out loud because it is so true😂
Isn’t this the same as a pen? A pen doesn’t need batteries either
I found if I get stuck typing or using pen my thinking and creativity would open up so much more in pencil!!
You are a maniac. Teach me your ways..
That bip part is so annoying. 😒 You probably add it thinking it was cool, but it isn't. 😐
Classic Red Silvine Memo Book for me. 36 sheet/72 Pages/158 X9 5cms/6.2" X 3.6"/20 lines per page/Quality paper that will take fountain pen ink/Made on Otley, Yorkshire/Cost about a quid, if you shop around.
Thank you, that was poetic.
Ah, I just found another one of my kind. A Spirited Man.
Raising the wick only produces more light for about a minute. Then the flame automatically goes back down to its minimum level. This is because when you extend the wick, the flame now travels down to the fuel soaked lower portion of the newly exposed wick, burning off off the oil at the lower portion before the oil can reach the upper portion of the wick. The upper part of the exposed wick, now starved of oil, then burns to a blackened useless crisp. The result is after about 30 seconds to a minute after raising the wick, your "brighter" light shrinks back to it's previously lower light level. MYTH: The wick adjustment control is NOT for brightness control, contrary to what many seem to think. It was never intended to be. It is a wick adjustment control only. Over time your wick deteriorates while in use. You will need to adjust your wick. That is what it is for. If you try to keep raising your wick to get more light, all you will do is waste your wick faster. There is only one level of light with these lanterns. You cannot change that.
I have the same stare case thingy
Thank you
I prefer the cyborg version of it, aka the mechanical pencil
leadholders will save the woods
What a lovely collection of pencils. I've been thinking of getting a few koh i Noor models. I've heard of lead slipping in them. Namely the 5900,5201 and the 5228. What has your experience been?
Please come back.
Please come back.
Please come back. 😢
3-4 lines only? That's crazy.
Please come back… 😢😢
I thought I was the only one that thought like this. Amazing! Everyone thinks I'm crazy lol
Thanks for sharing this valuable information from history 👍
Hello. I was using the Koh-I-Noor pencil, and I noticed that the 2H lead produced lighter lines than the 2H lead on A mechanical pencil. Does that have to do with the mechanical lead ? Should I use A different kind of lead than Pentel to get something similar to the Koh-I-Noor pencil, or should I get A harder lead for it.
TL;DR - His wife doesn't want him to make videos so he doesn't want it as well :) I love being single.
If Wes Anderson were a pencil enthusiast…
Along the same line, Fulltouch chalk is the best, so they say, chalk to use on chalkboards. Its so good that mathematicians are hoarding it. It too was discontinued by the Japanese company that made it for years. A S.Korean company has been producing it once they reversed engineered the the chalk. czcams.com/video/PhNUjg9X4g8/video.html

Which is the best quality Russian pencil?
STUPID
Breaking the lead in half does not give you twice as much. That’s like giving you 4 one dollar bills and telling you you’ve got more money…..
I just got 8 of the Eberhard Faber Noblot 705 ink pencils for free and can barely find any information on them. Are they worth using? Anything special about them? They’re super expensive on eBay.
define 'dull'...... great video
The only downside being that it's expensive but a great investment eventually if you can keep the habit up
now wonder why this 69k views
I used them at school in 80s. Later Pentel 0.5mm pencils came and these are not used anymore, but they used to be very common in Czechoslovakia. Well ... later they were plastic with lower quality and that old plastic was not chemically stable, it somewhat dissolved when it touched rubber or something. Besides of writing we used them to blow small paper balls, orange peel and so on on schoolmates :-) Not sure about marking, I think Koh-i-noor, Toison d'or and Hartmund was one company, maybe owning several brands and making pens, chalks, inks and various drawing tools. Funny is that I don't know black one, but they have unchanged design since at least 70s, my parents and grandparents had the very same.
I also like pencils
I would have liked one while I was in the Army.
I like using only one pencil until I finish it, then moving to the next one, I don't really mind wasting time sharpening it every time the tip wears off. I think John Steinbeck did this whole ritual cause blackwings are soft pencils so I guess the tip wears off very quickly, so it's not convenient when you are inmersed writting a novel to stop every time. Roald Dahl had a similar process, except he used 6 Dixon Ticonderoga pencils.
I can't believe it's been three years since you posted this... how time goes by. Your vidoes are some of the best about pencils out there.
Try pen gear pencils om from mexico and have a lot of years using it even my dad used them a lot mexican pencils sucks so much to we buy american or foreing pencils
Those don’t look like blackwing pencils?
Do you ever use field notes?
This video: A poetical paean to the pencil.
Love the idea of an Apsara sharpener in a 78 GBP pencil case, haha. Absolute fantastic things.
That was the longest politician answer if I ever heard one to a question no one asked
I was in the 2nd grade, I sharpened my pencil then went to sit in my chair. As I was pulling my chair to me I had my pencil in my hand facing up. I sat on it. Ended up at the doctors office that day. I’m 38 years old and I’ll never forget it.
Why is digital note taking automatically assumed to mean typing the notes? I hand write my notes on my iPad using a pencil. They don’t get typed unless they are used in a manuscript I am writing.
