What’s the point of turning this post modern anime about pop culture in something like that? The ending is like yet another joke itself. Anime didn’t have a plot and real characters so this revelation would be the same as if it happened in one of episodes of SNL for example I don’t know.

I need to share my theory: Sakura is a Hanma. With the upcoming Ohma vs Baki special, we know they take place in the same universe. In the arm wrestling scene, Sakura looks EXACTLY like Baki. So, by the transitive factor, Dumbbells and Baki take place in the same universe, and therefore, Sakura might be a Hanma

I love how seamlessly Gosho makes the continuity inside filler episodes. Its filled with bits of information of the characters daily life and makes them feel 'alive'. Its one of the anime that you always eager to watch despite being over 1000 episodes

i genuinely think that the teacher was the body guard who disappeared. She was there when haneda koji died and she saw RUM, which is why she stares Wakita because she feels something about him that makes her uneasy

Its one thing to make a plot of an Anime that involves fighting, level up power and dragging a simple fight scene into nine episodes (think goku v freeza on namek). . But a whole other thing to put in so much logic, complex human relations, no alien, no magic, no power of friendship, no qi, no chakra bs into each DC episode. Sadly that doesn't appeal to simple minds or kids for that matter.

I've said it before, including on the Detective Conan Wiki and I'll say it again, that it's one hell of a disturbing coincidence that Countdown to Heaven was released months before 9/11 and shares plenty of parallels with it.
