You have to account for the likelihood that he forced the Miyanos too late from his perspective to make the drug, and while it keeps him younger compared to the proposed age of 119 that Karasuma should be, it's also not permanent.
Meaning he appears in public whenever under the drug's effect and on a respirator when not. Probably for selfish reasons he doesn't tell his underlings that APTX-4869 isn't designed to be a poison, rather he's abducting test subjects to find survivors from whom he can extract how to achieve a more permanent effect. If we are to assume Vermouth reported that she killed Mary, then Karasuma is after Mary because she survived. Would explain why she would be mum about Shiho being still alive or who Kudo Shinichi is.

I always thought the names of alcohol tells about the character and wasnt randlm but I don't know about alcohol. Glad to get more information.
The episode where Gin is checking lockers for Conan makes me think he knows what APTX 4869 does. He opened up quite a few lockers before getting to the one Conan was in, halfway opened it and basically says what am I doing, no adult can hide in there.

The lone FACT that Conan knows " the boss" email and don't research it.. only because Ai Haibara told him it's like opening the Pandora box = fear.. it's so pointless and super against everything Detective's Conan is about and Shinichi as main character.
I will say even more, the simple FACT that Ai Haibara KNOWS or recon to know the Boss identity but refuses to tell Conan just because "potato"

Suichi Akai, successfully tracking down and sneaking on "Calvados" only to break his legs and take away like 6 guns from him all in extreme SILENCE without Vermouth or others noticing up.. but not knocking him down to ensure capture.. results that Calvados got ANOTHER hidden gun and simply commits suicide, are you serious'?????
Boss and Karasuma is the same one...we have a interview about this that proves it
It's a nice overview and I like some of the theories you did regarding the boss, but I think it would be important to differentiate between the canon members and the non-canon ones. For example while the movies can be interconnected with the main story sometimes, they are still kinda a different canon as for example in the movies Conan, Heiji and the others meeting Momiji in Osaka for the first time while in the main story they met each other in Kyoto instead. Or Kaito knowing Conan's identity in the movies but not in the main story. You could also argue that in the main story the organisation acts mostly undercover, extremly cautius, never wants to attract attention or leave behind evidence while in the movies they straight bring out war helicopters and attack japan's most famous landmarks xD There is even an interview with Aoyama where he confirms that the movies are a different canon, even though he is so heavily involved. So ya, I would be careful when considering non-canon sources for theories.

The Black Organization is giving me Professor Moriarty Organization vibes. Makes me wonder if the founder or the Black Organization is the man that Professor Moriarty was based on, or a descendant.

i really like the idea of Tokiwa Eisaku being the main scientist behind the APTX 4869 (not so much him being the current boss, i still hold to the idea of Tenma being alive somehow) but i saw you mention the the mysterious sick old man that's appearing lately. i think i already know who it's going to be revealed to be but just wondering, who do You think he is exactly?
Based on that Sombra's hatred of the police I initially guessed that he was Haneda' Kohji's real father, Haneda Yasuharu, who had distrusted the police since his son was killed and investigated his son's death on his own. But according to his reaction from Mary in the latest manga, that possibility has dropped significantly (after all Haneda Yasuharu is probably the one who helped Mary arrange the hotel, and now it is impossible to deliberately kick them out of the hotel again.) So I still guess that person is the boss of the black organization.

he's more likely to be the head of Shirohato Pharaceuticals/family (check chapter 1025). we know that this company went bankrupt 25 years ago because of a competitor so i even have a theory about it being head to head with/ having a race to immortality in reaserch with the Karasuma company/family for the silver bullet but that for another time. (just fyi Atsushi Miyano used to work for this company before he moved to the black organization)
you may say well how does he know who Mary sera is, in the flashback chapter 1011, when speaking about the BO Atsushi says "you sister said they were shady" so Elena atm probably avoided them and went ahead and joined the Shirohato Pharaceuticals with the name Elena "SERA". that way The head of the company is more likely to know that she has a sister called Mary.
you may say well how does he know where they are.... That's the thing, he didn't until now... The title of chapter 1094 (which was the start of this whole case) was: a chance encounter. i think Gosho here was talking about the unexpected first face to face between Shirohato's Driver and Mary and then Shirohato himself and Mary. (chapter 1094 page 6 notice the STEP fx, that's him. from there, he spied on sera (which is not a very Haneda family thing to do, they are know to very nice and kind) , noticed Mary unusual behavior (she nocked out a grown man) and caused that fire alarm to go off to reveal her to the old dude).
That's why he says "this looks like a dream" at the end of chapter 1096 (because that's what his whole life and research went into: growing young again)

i truly believe that Gosho is trying to make the next Climax of the story between Shirohato X Karasuma X Haneda families with Conan in the mix and i love it (i have a theory on how the Haneda family is going to tie into this whole mess but this is already too long so i'll leave it for another time xD).

@@ramyozi Hey, I really like your theory! I think it's sensible to assume that Shirohato is going to play a role in the manga in the future, since they seemed to have been a big competitor and the BO is never as good at eradicating their traces as they think they are xD
I'd love for that person in the car to not be the boss as well- just because I thought it rushed to introduce him so quickly after the number 2 of the BO Rum was revealed to the readers. Additionally it's not dramatic enough, right?

What do you think about the theory that Rum is Iori from the psb an infiltrated bo member on police side, going around disguised as Wakita to spy on Conan ? Its an interesting take, although we cant know.

i think it have to be Karasuma Renya who is walking around as a young person not saying we will go in crazy direction as Mitsuhiko as renya but everytime we heard renya name we did see he was associated with bo especially he was told to be alive around 17 years ago when rum did presentation for him i dont buy the theory that he is dead and there are several boss at all

Well at this point if new undercovers appear, I wouldn't be surprised as you already stated, this organization is terrifying. However, I think we are reaching the point where we will see traitors emerging from Conan's side. I am really suspicious of Iori and Vermouth. Iori seems to be a former undercover but often when a character looks good has turned out to be evil.
As for Vermouth, her character has been inspired by Fujiko Mine from Lupin about whom we know shows as she is helping Lupin but ultimately betrays her. Is it possible that she will betray Conan too for whatever the reasons. It may not be 100% betrayal. Like me and my friend came up with a theory that she could be the one who gave APTX to Shinichi in the first place to put him away from organization so it may also happen that she kills someone important to Conan for this purpose. Even though Haibara is very popular, she seems to be a potential target as she is also hated by Vermouth. Vermouth's hatred for Miyanos is unexplained but there is also the possibility of her and Haibara being love rivals in one way. Gin is obsessed with Haibara while she is scared of Gin more than anyone else. Could it be a case of abuse(sexually)? Gin is obsessed with Sherry but Vermouth likes Gin... also Gin and Sherry can also be combined to form a Martini.
Next, I do doubt whether RUM's identity is 100% Wakita or not. Sure he has been confirmed but it is like the case with Vermouth.
When she was first introduced in the end of episode 178, her face, name, voice and codename were revealed but nobody can forget how big a fool we were made in Episode 345. And also, Conan still doesn't know about RUM being Wakita and so I think Gosho Aoyama is planning something big. Gosho Aoyama has foreshadowed it a lot of times when there are three choices but the correct one is from the fourth one like the three cup puzzle at the end of episode 783 when the correct one is a fourth person, traitor's stage case and three first discoverers case where there were three suspects but the culprit turned out to be the 4th one i.e. victim itself. And also the nagano case(36 cell perfect game) where there were three mint boxes but the filled one was the fourth one. Obviously RUM won't be any random person. People suspect that it is Chikara, shogi player.
Movie 26 is also approaching so we can expect plot developments in manga. And like always, we will have a new member in the movie who will eventually die in the end.
Also, I really doubt the person appeared in file 1090 is boss, he is someone else atleast.
The driver is also suspicious, looks like Fusae's driver as a lot of people have alreayd pointed out.
Well, anyways, we can all agree that Black organization is the biggest antagonist to ever exist. And this series is GOAT.
I'll make some guesses in the next video about lori's real identity and his undercover purpose, if you're a manga reader it's actually pretty easy to guess because it was hinted at in 100 chapters before his debut.

@@BestestGrammar Hmmm…honestly the multiple bosses theories make sense, in a way. Take a look at the Detroit Partnership, there’s a Council of Bosses that ruled over the entire thing. Although the Don is the one the gave the ultimate order, the other “Big Men” are tremendously powerful in their own right, exercising enough power to issue high-profiled killings, or maybe even more influential than the “Top Man” himself.

Look I know this sounds completely wrong but WHAT IF haibara's father was initially assigned to remake another version of the rejuvinal drug which is the silver bullet , but it had serious side effects that it ended up killing karasuma so haibara's father took his place and made rum 2nd in command
And before u ask me how can someone simply just take over the big boss's place in the BO well u pointed out in one of your videos that the reason that makes vermouth not age and why she likes run is cause she probably took the silver bullet and as a side elect she lost her firtilaty which is why deep inside she wants Conan to destroy the BO plus we all know vermouth is somehow linked to the boss so maybe they agreed on letting karasuma consume the drug and she would help him take his place in the BO again sounds completely wrong but just imagine that would be sick

I few weeks back I decided to start re-watching this classic anime from my childhood and catch-up to all mine events, characters, plots, lore etc..
After watching all the filtered episodes list from the "fillers ones" I end up watching Detective Conan videos on YT just like yours.

After getting all the available intel we have now about Detective Conan world, I'm sad to say that I'm genuine disappointed.
All the mystery hype of "the black organization" from the first 0 to 500 episodes back in the "early days" to me.. it's just gone right now.

I can't ignore all the "non-sense" we have been revealed with the deeper the author show us about the black organization.

1. The amount of undercover agents, traitors and their lack to successfully identity them and neutralize.. is astonig.
2. So much "clash" moments between Conan, FBI, etc and the Black Organization and they still CAN'T capture or eliminate any of them.
3. 20 years and over 1000 episodes and we still don't know who "the boss" is, the true objectives, motivation behind this organization..

They always go to incredible radical and exaggerated extends with all this "deductive" game and deceiving to get "so little" it's just ridiculous.

I really don't like all this continuous flashbacks trying to "explain or add to the plot" with pure "coincidence" lil Conan met Akai whole family randomly one a beach somewhere.. lol? The unique trip of Shinichi and Ran to New York they met Vermouth and Akai.. it's just too much "cheap writing" Gin is a super intelligent guy in all Black Organization and could have easily discovered that Conan is Shinichi and were he is.. BUT oh boi! he has this very convenient condition of simply forgetting everyone he has killed.. are you kidding me?

The thing that bothers me the most are all those "undercover agents" that we.. the audience KNOW they are all GOOD GUYS and could solve all of this by just meeting up for a good cup of tea and a very long afternoon chat.
