I got bankart repair with resimplage my movements are full range within 1.5 month of surgery... Except external rotation 15 degree .... But i feel some rubbing sensation of bone on back side of my shoulder

For anyone watching this please do not ice overnight. Icing should be at a 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off alternating each hour. If you leave ice on your body before going to bed you can burn and severely damage the skin or wounds that are present from the surgery resulting in further complications. Always use a barrier between ice and skin as well!

I am that version of you right now. A yearly dislocation, up to 4 now, all different situations. Currently mulling over my options...

i am in 4 months . when did you have A PERFECT HAND(I mean in how many months did you have no pain at all and every motion like before your first dislocation?

I m 2 days postoperative... bankart repair with remplissage....it hurts like hell ...i cant sleep once the nerve block effect was gone

I wanted to know when sitting on the ground and getting up with one knee on the group and using both arms to help me get up ( 8.04 weeks) can I do so ? Sometimes I get nervous to use my arm when pushing myself up like idk if it’s wrong or right . I see a lot of what not to do overhead but what about when bending down ?

I'm 9 years late, but I just had rotator cuff & labral repair on 9/15/23. I start PT on 10/6/23. I know I am in for it with the exercises! 🤣 Please keep posting this videos. They're helpful. And, I'll keep you posted too.

Im 6 weeks in and just had my first pt appointment… my therapist cant even get me to externally rotate to neutral. She said if we still can’t get it there in the next 2 weeks my surgeon may have over tightened my shoulder capsule. Hoping its just tightness from starting pt late 🤞

Will I be able to regain all shoulder movements after bankart repair? my shoulder got dislocated once and to avoid further dislocations I got the bankart repair done after 15 days. Currently in recovery. It’s been 2.5 weeks since surgery and I have been advised to start pendulum exercises to regain ROM. Do you think since I have had one dislocation and immediate got surgery done, are there chances of recovering faster? Also do you regain full ROM to pre-operative levels after bankart repair and rehab? Would love to hear your take, I look forward to hearing from you, love from India 🇮🇳

day 14th after surgery here, have started with pendulum and other exercises to regain ROM, today was the first day of exercise, moved the shoulder 2 weeks after the surgery so faced some instability and pain. Hope to get better, soon :)

I got my Arthroscopic labrum repair with capsular shift and reimplissagw on 25th July 2023 .....now today 17th August 4 weeks now ....i won't feel much pain when I'm using sling ....as my dr. Said to have wrist moment and after 3 weeks he said to have pendulam like movement......for gaining movements..... A feel a bit pain ....is it Ohk ? And in how many days I'll regain my all movements? And I'll be able to back in gym or my sport cricket ever not ? 🙂..... Or what precautions i should take ....the. Don't have 2nd surgery for this shoulder thos one surgery already have me enough trauma ...... Please reply... Ik you guys can understand my concern n pain while asking for these quires

Sorry for the focus on this one. I had a new camera and this was the first time using it for video. Before this was all on GoPros (2's and 3's) so I didn't have to worry about focus.

This is exactly the series I needed. I am 6 weeks out of my labrum repair and getting my immobilized sling off tomorrow. I was just scared of messing it up with my hand out of the sling. Do you have any advice on how to help keep the hand safer with it out of the sling?

I had also undergone this surgery, it's been 3 weeks but it still hurts/pains a lot when from our operated shoulder we try to do any movement, also it pains during sleep and after waking up. Normally it doesn't pain if I am with a sling. Did you experience the same? Please reply.

I’m on day 8 and It didnt really hurt that much for me probably cause of the meds, it only hurt for a slight moment when i accidentally move it a bit too quickly
