Looking forward to watching the rest of the videos. I had my surgery 5 weeks ago, I'm feeling good and looking forward to start the therapy. I dislocated my shoulder 9 times in 8 years and it was getting worse, I also experienced that dislocation during sleeping and it was awfull. I have 3 anchors, also had a Bankart lesion. Thank you for making these videos. Regards, Raul
I'm glad it has offered a point of reference for you. Good luck.

Hello! I'm preparing for my surgery (2,5 months ago I fell off a skate and made an anterior Bankart lesion on my left shoulder) and I'm hoping for a very good recovery.
@@marcusaurelius161 I need to ask you question All my pain from the surgery is gone, my physio is about to start in a week and I got 6 days left for it to be month for my surgery. I just wanna ask the my hand doesn't go up yet in shoulder press motion or you can call it I can't raise my hand yet. Is it normal?
Hi, thanks for posting all those bankart repair series on youtube. I will be having one on my right shoulder next Tuesday. Just wondering how are u doing 2 years after the surgery? Thanks a lot Gary
Three years post-op, now! Still doing great. More range of motion, more strength. VERY little difference between the repaired arm and the regular arm. Good luck with your surgery! Thanks for the positive feedback!
On 01/08/18 I was hit by a Jeep Cherokee while I was walking accross the street. I have a reverse Hill Sachs impaction fracture and a bankhart lession in the 630 to 11 o'clock position. Surgery isn't scheduled yet but I know it's soon. Kinda nervous
That is awful. I'm sorry to hear that. Posterior dislocations (which it sounds like you have) are worse than anterior ones due to the fact that you have to break things to dislocate the shoulder (as you did). Having never broken anything, I would guess that what you've experienced so far is worse than what you will experience after surgery. Good luck with your recovery!
I am that version of you right now. A yearly dislocation, up to 4 now, all different situations. Currently mulling over my options...

Hi Marcus, thank you for doing this video. I am going through my physio. Feeling down. How old were you when you went for this op?
Old enough to have a career, young enough to recover fairly well.
Meditation? Good luck!
