I replaced injectors on my cts left end caps accidentally on injectors got car BK together didn't start took BK apart all end caps are gone what's that gonna do to my car

always change the pick up tube if you replace the pump on these.... ....but that pump was clogged up and who knows for how long it was like that.... engine was starved to death. change your oil, people.!!!!!!!!!!

After releasing the vice grips tapping on the line hells the bubbles move upwards. Tapping the slave and master while pumping can free trapped air too. Used to do this on dirt bikes.

Moog parts are thrash

Had moog ball joints fail on me with 10,000 miles, separated on me on the highway don’t know how I saved that. Make your customers dish out for genuine parts. Moog is garbage.

Honda will sale you the whole spindle/knuckle already pressed. It’s more money but you will have a Honda genuine part and not deal with this headache.

Is it possible to just change the whole assembly? Or do assembly not come with a fuel pump?

What was the total time for the job?

I would consider myself somewhere between a novice and intermediary DIYer and decided to do this on my own. This video was super helpful! Here are a couple things I would add from my experience. My biggest problem is after getting the old alternator out, the new alternator didn't fit the slot on the lower side of the engine block. Reason being was that the bushings on the engine block and the bushings on the new alternator cause to spacing to be too small. A day later I found some videos that showed a trick with a bolt, large socket, nut, and a couple wrenches lets you adjust the bushings. The ridgeline was too hard to do this in the engine blocking fitting, so I used the trick on the new alternator. Made the width 1/8" smaller and it fit! I tried to slide the serpentine belt off only the alternator, but once its loose, its easy for it to fall off other areas. So pay attention to the diagram and put it back on the same way. Lastly, a small helpful thing would have been to take the nut off the electrical lead on the alternator before getting it into place. Not a big deal, but annoying to fit the small space when 5 minutes earlier it would have been super easy to remove. Tools: I have a lot if general basic tools. But I did buy a few more for this project that without it would have likely been impossible. Serpentine belt loosener (harber freight had the best price) Socket extensions Adjustable socket connectiond (allow you to pivot a lot of different angles) The engine bay is tight, and these items let you get to those pesky areas.

My manager was about to send our customer to the dealer lol we had the same issue, we replaced the master cylinder and did a brake flush, it didn’t fix the issue. Right before my manager called the customer I found your video & tried it. Did not have to Grenade the brakes in reverse though, it worked fine in drive. Thanks so much for the help 🙏

I got my local mechanic to replace timing belt last winter. He broke this valve where the vacuum goes into. For the longest time, I was trying to pinpoint the problem. I finally found it last night. I am glad I found this VDO. But it's btch the way I see how difficult you had to get it replaced.

My truck has the sensor on the back of conpressor but doesnt have the other end to plug in!?!? What is the deal with that?

Hey man. Been following for a while now. You've been a big inspiration to me. I wanted your input on something. I recently got an 05 accord v6 hybrid. It's got the infamous VCM system. It was smoking in high rpm when I got it. I did a Marvel Mystery Oil soak on the piston rings, put Marvel Mystery Oil in the only on an oil change at the same time, and also put a VCM muzzle on it to disable the ECO mode. That was maybe 1k miles ago and it started smoking more. I did another oil change on it just today and put a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer in it mixed with the oil change. From the few drives I took, it definitely seems like the oil is burning a hell of a lot less. There used to be somewhat thick clouds behind me, and now there's more of a thin mist of smoke. If I just keep driving it how it is, will the piston rings free up and stop burning? I just don't want to mess around. If I need to pull the engine and rebuild with new rings, then I'll do it. I just don't want to do endless oil changes and piston ring soaks hoping it will free up one day. Also, a key point to the issue, when I pull the oil cap off while the engine is running there definitely is a release of pressure you can hear, as in blow by happening inside the engine. I've read that people had really bad oil consumption go away with just the VCM muzzler. I've been following you for a while and look up to you quite a bit and just want your input on this issue.

Purchased a 2013 Impreza wrx about 6 months ago; had to take it in and finding a replacement transmission is a little difficult for me. I’ve talked to the dealership my car is at for repair, they are willing to install one if I can provide it. But won’t help me with sourcing it, due to liability. I read and read forums I am an unsure if I can use any year 08-14 wrx tran ?? If not what are good options for the 2013 replacement?

What brand pulley was that you used? It looks like it works really well

Great job , decided to tackle this myself after watching , shop said 6 hours labor did in 2 hours first timer , you can save some time by not unclipping each wire just twist turn the bulbs out and leave connected to harness , also no need to remove bumper or fan sensor on our 07 4.0 slid right out the top. Thanks again saved us almost 1k at a shop (keep in mind they were using fraudulent labor time amounts)
