Just fixed the seat switch in my wife's car with the info and insights from this vid, it saved me a lot of time and effort for trial and error. Her seat would lean forward, but not recline, so it was stuck in a very unpleasant position. Thank you very much, this was incredibly helpful.
What is the part name
Thanks for the video. I have to fix back rest on a hunday 2009 . It doesn't go backwards. So i knew its the module switch but i searching to see how to get the panel off. Now i know. Thanks.
I own a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited and the previous owner I'm pretty sure was a big dude that spent most of his time in the car. The seat's control panel was broken off (still works) and the arm rests on both sides of the driver's seat and the steering wheel were caked in dirt. I'm still trying to clean it all off.
Looks like a new camera, with a step up in high def and better contrast. Bravo!
Not really.
HOLE
Your descriptions are funny. This whatsit in the thingy with groove doodad. All I need to do is find the hole and IT'S A JOB! Ok BYE!
Keep up the good work!
Just fixed mine brother thank you for the vid dealership wanted to charge an arm and two legs immediate like and subscribe.
Not bad. You would still have an arm left over.
"The victim is complaining about..."
Lol always enjoy your content 👍
Perfect!
IT'S A JOB!!!! At least you didn't get any rust in your eyes this time....
Quick question, if I break one of the knobs, can I replace the knob or I would have the replace the whole thing?
I can imagine replacing a knob. Don't know where you're gonna get one.
Nice job OK bye 🎉😊
Do you have the link to the part?? My wifes is a 2014 Hyundai sonata and the damn seat won't lower anymore its sitting high.
I just ordered a chinese part from Amazon, or Ebay.
Helpful video! do you mind noting the part model number and where you got it? i have the same problem.
I got the cheapest stuff on Amazon, that had good reviews.
If you ordered since this comment, what did you get? I have a 2012 with almost exact symptoms.
@@danielmetcalf1 amazon search will find it for you.
Where did you buy the clip from that you broke ?
Napa, I would imagine.
The accent makes this 10x better
Minnesotan's don't have an accent. 🤪

You sound like my relatives from the Cities and up the North Shore . Gonna attempt a panel replacement on my wife’s Santa Fe , should be similar .
High of 72, NYE in San Antonio.
“Whatsit” in South Texas translates to “chingadera”
Alles gut!
What’s the part that’s she bought of Amazon ?
Drivers power seat switch
Do you have a part number?? Have an issue with my 14 sonata, mine will recline down but not up
I do not. Its chineze mail order
That’s what ours was doing. I took it apart and cleaned the contacts and now it’s working perfectly, didn’t cost a dime! About 30 min job😊
@@user-hl3fw4wd9s mine is doing the same thing, Reclined but wnt come back up. Do i need to take off like the video to clean it.
@@jamielorenz5021 yes it took like 20 min. And has worked perfect since. Once I got it off I took a little pick tool and got the little switch box open for the recline. Inside I believe was a spring and a small piece of metal with a contact on each end . I took sand paper and cleaned each one both sides. Real they were not that dirty but apparently dirty enough to keep it from working. Pay attention to how the little metal contact and spring goes back in.
I didn’t buy anything new , just took it apart and cleaned it and put it back together
Can someone link the part for the seat? Thank you

Try that one.
How much was this kit bud where can I order one
I got the switch off of amazon.
Like a bull in a china shop . But hey , you got it done .
The switch probably could have been fixed. There are two small ball bearings that probably just had to be placed back in the right spots. Then all good.
Same problem what is the part name anyone
"2012 sonata drivers power seat switch", There are a bunch on amazon.
You are the mf-ing best you save me 650.
Sounds like your mechanic has too many kids to feed, and is working for early retirement.
@RustBeltAuto pretty much 🤣🤣
cambiar la tarjeta completa? no es solución, la solución es cambiar el componente electrónico, switch, interruptor o transistor.
I don't speak whatever language you're speaking.
fixed one thing and broke 7 others
The CCP parts wagon delivers again!
