Great video out of all the the Acura Ilx starter removal , except I have a 0328 code now, so that little brown clip you said you weren’t gonna move because it was the knock sensor. I must’ve moved it stupid me.! Back into the Frey once again
I always do these starters by the bottom. Same set up. But i have short stubby arms so that connector and starter wire come off after the 2 starter bolts
It's supposed to flip up into a stool. Instead, I drilled holes in the thing, and bolted it to make it look like that, and put 2x4's under the seat to lift it up a little. I like it!

how did u modify the chair? was is just a flat one before? i need a lower chair too and this one might be an option

Cheap amazon stuff.
At least Honda puts those really long bolts on the top of the starters. It would be a nightmare if they didn't. ☮
How many miles on this 2014 ILX?
About 100k. Probably best to measure something like that in thermocycles, or something, for which I have no idea.

I cannot disagree. If there is a next time, I will probably remove the intake, like on the civic's.
